  1. Thank you for a good article which also has spirited comments. Some more items to consider. First, the Chicom military has no aircraft capable of flying to those artificial islands from the mainland. Everything there was shipped by sea. Hainan Air flies their Boeing 737 there, just a hop. A Chicom press release used the 737 flight to imply the military flight capability. Actually Hainan A will not fly domestically produced planes for any international flight. Second, Taiwan has a small garrison on the largest natural island in the group, and within sight of the Chicom reefs. It is known as Taiping Dao, or Itu Aba. It has the only fresh water lagoon amongst those reefs. They supply it by air regularly and their fighters can fly to the runway there. ( Chicom domestically produced aircraft cannot fly that distance due to unreliable engines and electronics, and limited range. Their aerial refueling doesn’t work.) This Taiwan military presence began in the 50s. They have been steadily adding to the radars, air defense, missiles and docking facilities. Of course the US and Philippines know this. Philippines ships surely have sheltered and refueled/provisioned there. The same for the US , including aircraft. Taiwan extends a helping hand, does not bully. Third, those 2-3 year old artificial Chicom sea wall structures are already beginning to crumble due to normal CCP shoddy construction. Pretty soon Hainan will not take a chance to land their 737s. 🇹🇼💪🇹🇼🙏🏻🇹🇼

  2. The prick fishing industry is a predatory poaching industry! The fact that their maritime militia go into other people's EEZs to STEAL the fish there is the reason WHY they're the biggest seafood producer in the world hence their wealth is based on DECEPTION & THEFT!

  3. No problem, if china can build the great wall of china and still exist after more than 2 thousand years pretty sure china could make it back to a functional island in no time easily!

  4. China's military is one of the largest and most powerful in the world, with advanced technology, a vast number of personnel, and a growing focus on modernization. Its strategic influence continues to expand globally.
