  1. Do we not see a temperature spike, co2 spike, and methane spike at the end of the interglacial warming period. Which we are towards the end of. Why do people deny natural climate change? Interglacial warming period only last so long. And time is about up. This has happened 46 times in 2.6 million years. One difference is the polar pole is over Arctic ocean and not Greenland this time. Confused look up polar drift or true polar wander. Since we cut emissions in 70's planet has warmed. This is called global brightening. Which less clouds and emission allow for more solar radiation to heat planet. Global dimming continued from 1950s until 1980s. After 1980s, global dimming started to reverse, alongside reductions in particulate emissions, in what has been described as global brightening. Then we cut so2 ship track emissions which cause condensation. Tonga volcano added 14% more moisture to atmosphere. Now we see a drought in the Caribbean and ocean boiling event after cutting so2. So most of the warming is actually from reductions in particulate emissions. Allowing more solar radiation to heat things. Co2 don't heat up by itself. That co2 spike actually cools planet. Insulation works both ways to keep things warm and to keep things cool. Co2 has a super cooling effect just like methane too. Satellite data have recently revealed that between 2002 and 2019, the mesosphere and lower thermosphere cooled by 3.1 degrees F (1.7 degrees C ). Mlynczak estimates that the doubling of CO2 levels thought likely by later this century will cause a cooling in these zones of around 13.5 degrees F (7.5 degrees C), which is between two and three times faster than the average warming expected at ground level.

  2. What’s more likely, that 10s of thousands of individual scientists around the world in conjunction with a shadow government are faking the science of climate change in secret or that a handful of corporations and a few dozen hand picked "experts" are trying anything they can to maximize short term profit? The idea that there is a vast conspiracy cannot be believed by anyone who has ever tried to plan a surprise birthday party

  3. I swear climate alarmist are some of the most uneducated people. They don't realize they have actually warmed the planet. By simple cutting emissions which allow more solar radiation to heat things. Solar radiation is what warms things. Co2 don't heat up on its own. Co2 acts like very poor insulation. Sounds like someone didn't fact check and just repeating an untrue narrative. The only way to prove man made climate change is to deny natural climate change. Because of temperature spikes at end of interglacial warming period. After the temperature spike and planet cools, co2 and methane spikes while the planet has already cooled. Which kicks in the super cooling effects. Bringing in next glaciation. Also El Nino don't happen during glaciation. Increasing La Nina's are a sign of interglacial warming period ending. We have seen La Nina 50% of the time last 25 winters. The rest neutral and El Nino. And warming periods usually last 10000-15000 years. Which depending on starting point its been 12000 and 15000 if counting older Dryas. If humans stop producing co2 today. History and data says it will keep going up till into next interglacial. 46 times in 2.6 million years. Natural cycles repeat. Polar drift and true polar wander say this is a warming glaciation. Which every glaciation it has been worse than last for 5 billion years. Last glaciation we were -8*C away from being Snowball earth again. Almost total extinction planet wide. If planet does not warm and glaciation keep getting worse its extinction in 4 glaciation cycles. As soon as polar pole gets over land again or close to it.

  4. Co2 should be limited. But how? Not because of warming but because of super cooling. By making natural fossil fuels. We need wetlands like peat bogs, moors, fens, swamps, and marshes. The anaerobic environment acts as a great carbon sink. Many hydrocarbons occur in nature. In addition to making up fossil fuels, they are present in trees and plants, as, for example, in the form of pigments called carotenes that occur in carrots and green leaves. Build aquifers not reservoirs. Green the deserts. Release the beaver. Stop with so much stuff in the sun like, cars, roads, buildings, concrete, roofs, and empty fields. They all absorb lots of solar radiation and give off lots of heat. Put the planet cooling so2 back in the ship tracks. Help it rain in the equator. The equator becoming hotter and dry is a sign of a cooling planet. The moisture to form glaciers comes from a hotter drier equator. A cooler planet means a drier planet. A cooler planet never goes good for humans. A couple degrees cooler and the black death breaks out again. Glaciers need to melt to move as polar drift happens. Glaciers don't form over water like were the polar pole is now. Next glaciation will be warmer as polar pole is over the arctic ocean.

  5. Hey George, nice to see you have a show looking to address global warming. Do not waste time trying to present the facts surrounding the science. There are lots of folks doing that. However, there are few out there presenting the things we have to do. Most people are at a loss for being able to know what to do. What jobs are stable? Where should I live? How can I help?

There is very little guidance for folks at the bottom, or in the middle even. Canadians need hope and have to transition to certain professions. Top on that list is forest fire fighters. We need more than just people, we need to make forest management a top priority. We need to retain healthy forests so the carbon can be sequestered. So we can't let the forests burn down. Those that fight the fires must be seen as the front line hero's of our battle against global warming. It would be a distinctly useful take for a show, to help folks to choose the roles they will take on, to push Team Human forward.
    Good Luck George!

  6. I don’t think we’re getting out of this one alive, all climate predictions have been wrong, the actual ‘numbers’ have been much worse.
Nearly everyone isn’t paying attention. Distracted while the mentally ill wealthy get richer.

  7. WOW! Too many omissions in this story. For instance, Copernicus tells us that 1.2 TRILLION TONS of global ice is melting every year now, while absorbing the enormous amount of mostly manmade heat energy we are generating through our mindless, incessant burning of fossil fuels: 8 billion tons of coal per year, and 100 million barrels of oil per day. Copernicus predicts that 2/3 of the entire global ice reserve will be melted by 2,100, that's in 77yrs., so a simple extrapolation yields 2,138 for the end of our natural AC and Venus 2.0 won't be too far beyond that point. No wonder the Musker is building a colony on Mars. It will be a oneway ticket, no doubt. When will we ever learn?

  8. Isn’t it amazing how going from roughly 3 parts in 10,000 atmospheric CO2 to a little more than four parts in 10,000 CO2 can alter the climate so drastically. Do you think maybe there’s more to climate change than just CO2?

  9. There are still many millions of people in the US who are certain that there is no climate change. They will not listen to facts. I know because my 84 year old sister who watches Fox News for hours every day is one of them. It drives me crazy and makes me very sad.

  10. The problem is that we'll meaning, compassionate people put all of their trust in the governments of the world to address and remediate the climate crisis while those very governments are the drivers of the overconsumption and waste that causes the destruction in the first place. This comes down to each and every one of us, including the wealthy, drastically changing our lifestyle. But that will take a drastic reduction of government as well as a ginormous amount of personal sacrifice and a new idea of "success"

  11. Humanity actually deserves whats coming. We are a virus to our mother Earth and an invasive species detrimental to all but a hamdful of other species that cohabitate this planet…and thats not even considering what we do to each other based on fairy tales

  12. Bro, I feel grief and sorrow and I’m not into the climate at all. We took a paradise and paved it, mined it, deforested it, over grazed it, and over populated it. I hope our population numbers are reduced to pre industrial levels. That’s the only way humanity will learn.

  13. Can you believe the comments below,Gee ladies,I think you better go back to being self absorbed, shallow, and without an original thought. This is a global crisis that should be aggressively dealt with by what ever means possible. And all you can come up with is''Great piece with information to make you think''that's a response for''too much salt in your diet can lead to high blood pressure''etc.,etc.,I guess we are in the midst of a metaphorical Zombie Apocalypse.

  14. Having worked and played outdoors all my life, I know global warming is real! And locally I’ve seen locally produced lake ice chart’s going back to the 1800’s that clearly shows warming! Just because someone is in denial about it doesn’t make them right!

  15. Since they are skirting around the true problem I will tell you the truth. It is the ancient calendar systems of division which are the Nations . They are the reasons we are still having Wars today. They are raping our planet to build their war machines to murder humans. Ancient calendar Consciousness has to be changed . This is the reason I am against the 195 countries and the over 2,400 false religions . The reason people believe in different countries and different religions is because they have been brainwashed to believe so. From the all seeing eye generation. To the children from the children for the children.

  16. So what, humans will adapt, their was life when fossel fuel carbon was sequestered by plant life , you get paid to play and promote a theory , no crisis, the real crisis will be mass starvation that will happen in a fossel fuel free world

  17. Great awakening of these huge crevasses I did not realise there were so many! This actually reminds me of a great YouTube movie called Ice which has these crevasses Highly recommended a Must See
With our wonderNZ actor Sam Neil and others well known actors 🕊🌏💖

  18. Thank you for showing us this. It is so important. I don’t know what it will take to wake people up, but this is one step in the right direction. Knowledge, along with the true facts, is power. I hope humans will use that power to make smart decisions.

  19. Thanks George, for taking the time to learn how the ice sheet is changing! With the world in perpetual chaos with front-burner issues, it can be challenging to remind folks about climate change boiling away on the back burner. 💙

For climate scientists, it’s definitely fantastic when someone so high impact bumps our climate change messaging. Makes me think that it would be so very nice, if IPCC/UNFCCC actually had UN climate ambassadors.

And yes, everyone, sometimes I talk, like that, when I’m, like, formulating, like, complex thoughts on the, like, spot. Like. Like. 🤭

  20. You should have went and met that Greenlander who has her own YouTube channel Q lol I just watched the video before you did meet her lol awesome . I remember watching you George with my grandma way back she passed now. been a huge fan as a Toronto resident since I was really young I’m 41 now . Just found your Channel brother respect

  21. I have watched this info., for years. Even, I believe it was David Suzuki, showed that they have ripped up so much of the rainforest (things we can't control) if they just replanted just that, it would help the most. For an individual, it is impossible. Each individual feels like "I can't help".
