  1. India is already on right path towards green energy sector. But the developed countries need to support developing country by providing cheaper loan credits and other benefits.

  2. As of 2022, China was by far the world's largest coal consumer with 55% of energy use, an increase of 2% of the total energy from the year before.
So China is accelerating the use of coal despite it having signed the Paris agreement.

  3. No you can't solve the climate problem by global cooperation. The left and environmentaliats must start to read game theory. A global coordination problem the most extreme form of prissoners dilemma is not solvable. It must be removed by a other pathway.

Even though it feeels wrong and uneethical it is no other way than heavy massive engienering and resach work to make nuclear reactor so cheap that nothing else makes economic sence. It is very hard to achive that. But international "agreements" is a dead end. If we stay on that road we will all be ruined.

Just do the math! Just look at the game teory. It is not hard but impossible.

Nuclear is not, and the feelings of righteousness must be set aside. Would we rather be dead than pragmatic?

  4. I grew up in Pakistan. 1956-1964. It was a different world then from what it is now. We all have the same needs. Clean air, water, non-toxic governments, etc. However, we are unique in that through the past Earth history there is one over riding factor to the human condition. We do not get along very well. We make suicidal decisions as manifested from our condition. We are incapable of the kind of focused characteristic growth development that is required now. Sadly, this severe lack of communal intent and genetic degeneration will be our demise unless there is Divine intervention.

  5. If you think you can live without renewable carbon fuel you’re laughable. Who say’s this isn’t better for the human race. Just because they tell you that it is. They are Hypocrites at best.

  6. This coordinated approach seems unworkable. Climate change will cause more division, not less. Meetings like this focus on how the other countries should do more, while every nation is only willing to serve their internal needs (ESPECIALLY democracies). The way forward needs to be about transparency (shaming polluters) and incentives (carbon markets, clean infrastructure loans, etc).

  7. When the poor people of the world realize that all their hard earned money haven't made the climate changes any better, then the rich elite climate profiteers will be the only ones paying.

  8. india is heavily investing in green energy sector and evs , but the neighbors not only pakistan but other south asian country as well have a lot of instability and dim economic prospects .
