  1. It is SICK AND RECKLESS, that humans are making plans for the possible impact od asteroid, while the probability of Supereruption (or JUST mega-eruption!) is far more likely!!! Actually right now 2 european mega-volcanoes are cooking and at the brink of the eruption, that might have impact on the whole northern hemisphere or at least at Europe and mediterrean zone!!!

  2. We could survive 1-2 years of volcanic winter but it would require starting to store food rations right now! (dried and vacuum foods, like army has) and switch to more crisis-resistant food production:
Greenhouse cultivation, cultivation of algae, fungi and lichens (which are very nutritious, grow quickly, and do not need as much light), dried insects (nutrious and fast growing), air and water filtration systems, heat pumps, etc.

Governments should have such plans and encourage people to gather supplies.

  3. It can happen sooner than people think, the pressure is built up and the signs are there. There is no point in worrying either, if it happens then it is all over for us.

  4. Lot of irrelevant babble before she briefly alludes to the fact that Yellowstone volcano is essentially dead. The most recent, and probably final, eruption was a tiny lava flow 70,000 years ago. There is nowhere near enough magma in the chambers to suggest another eruption, now or any time.

  5. False… it's not a super volcano. It is capable of large eruptions, but not cataclysmic ones…. also it's a hotspot simular to Hawaii. After roughly 16 large eruptions since forming none were anywhere near extinction lvl…. stop spreading false info….

  6. "bracing yourself"is good and all but the proper way to prepare with be to store away food and water for your family. Because there will be food interruptions for a period of time. And utilities might not work in all areas.
