  1. He lives in Denmark? Are Danes, on average, getting better off over the last five or 10 years? I know many in the country I live in are getting worse, slowly but surely. Oddly, the GDP keeps going up, but the citizens keep getting a little farther behind just about every year.

  2. Does by we'll be better fed he mean that we'll be eating healthy bugs by 2050? That's the WEF plan for us; well, those of us who leftover after the depopulation they would like. The WEF elite will of course have their own farms and ranches, probably organic for themselves.

  3. There are methods of delivering water, fertilizer, and pesticides that greatly cut down on the usage of those without decreasing production. I would be surprised if those technologies are pushed forward as that would negatively impact large industries.

We shouldn't rush into solving "climate change". Just do simple things, like planting a small tree, try reusing stuff instead of throwing into landfill. If everyone does their small part, things will improve long term.

  5. There is one question that is never addressed that would expose the "climate crisis" for the scam that it is, which is "What percentage of the atmosphere is CO2?" The answer, never given in plain language, is that CO2 is currently around 420 parts per million, (google it) increased, they tell us, from 280 ppm in 1850. That's a difference of 140 ppm, or in terms more readily understood by the layman, the composition of the atmosphere has changed by 0.014% (14 thousandths of 1%) in the last 170 years. LESS THAN 1 THOUSANDTH OF 1% PER DECADE! How much closer to "zero" do they think it's possible to get? How gullible do you have to be to believe that this rate of change is causing extreme weather events, which have always happened and always will? Their claim is that this tiny amount "traps heat". ALL gasses dissipate heat and even if CO2 is an exception, the suggestion that a total of 0.042% can overwhelm the capacity of the remaining 99.958% to dissipate that heat is abject nonsense. CO2 DOES NOT control the global temperature, there is no "climate crisis". Wind farms, solar panels, heat pumps, EV's.. None of these measures are necessary, nor will they have the slightest effect on the weather. Eye-watering sums of money have already been wasted on this futile exercise. Time to wake up, stop throwing our money at these boondoggles and squandering the world's resources on projects that cannot possibly succeed as there never was a problem to begin with. There is no need to save the planet from a minuscule increase in the gas on which all life depends, but it does need to be rescued from idiot politicians and media mouthpieces that push this garbage.

  6. He forget the big problem of sea level rise.. in 200 years half of the cities in the world will be floded, billions will lose their land, their income, their food production and will have to migrate

Ive havent heard a single scientist even mention «the end of the world» … Mr Lomberg gets his news from bs sources

  7. As the world gets better in general, certainly Britain is on a massive downward trajectory. Brexit is a massive act of betrayal by the wealthiest. Life expectancy in the UK is falling, poverty, obesity, bad health are on the increase.

The UK cannot be fixed unless Brexit is reversed.

  8. The best data and models indicate an additional 4 degree centigrade rise in global temperature by 2100. We will find out if it’s true if in the next 10 years global temperatures rise another .5 degree centigrade. Half of West Antarctica and Greenland ice sheets will be melting by 2100 if this temperature rise happens. Not the end of the world, but it’s going to be really bad for anyone alive in 80 years.

  9. Thank you. Lomborg is right about 'Green Energy'. The so called US 'Green New Deal' had a price tag greater than the entire total worth of the USA and its economy. Everybody loves a deal. Make the 'Green Energy' 100% reliable, cheaper, better built and more efficient than anything we have now and you will have no problem selling it. However, the build out will take time. Our current energy production and infrastructure started serious build out C1900. This will take time..

  10. Politicians actually usually avoid talking about the bad outcomes that are likely. If you read the science you know that the popular media generally underplays the difficulty we will face. Here in developed economies you might not think it will be too bad, but how many things that you can touch right now as you read this were not imported or made from imported components?
Global trade is already today under pressure. Agriculture is already under pressure. Immigration is already causing social and political pressure … and we are only just starting to see the front edge of the effects.
No, I won't convince anyone, shouting into the void like this. I gave up on you lot long ago. I built a substantial nest-egg and a secure and comfortable place for my family. Don't show up uninvited. That wouldn't be safe.

  11. That's why global warming is a hoax. They can't prove man caused it or that man can fix it. Also the climate can't be altered with money. It's just a scam. Make the people fear it so you can sell it.

  12. the less food the more deaths its a no brainer keep on growing,,,,,,its the unfair distribution that causes starvation and death,,,,,also war is a big killer……heh its all about control and the money if you got the money you eat well…..if not you die theres plenty of space for people theres plenty of food keep the politicians out of it we;ll be fine what do they know about growing food or ecology generally .. they dont leave us alone go and get a real job we;ll feed ourselves and build houses without you its you and your endless rules and regulations that thwart life and make billions of human suffer from your fabricated unfair punitive manufactured economic system

  13. The world will not end; yours might as 'Madame Gaia' sorts us out because of our stupidity and proclivity.
TOO MANY PEOPLE ! All wanting lifestyles that America boasts !

  14. A “Political Scientist” is not a real scientist, it is an “ART.” He has no knowledge of what is happening in science, just in money… There is no Planet-B to purchase. What a joke!!!

  15. The story of Bjorn- a little boy who found a bugle to blow and got some attention, and no doubt plenty of cash from the fossil fuel criminals. Is this someone's idea of balanced programming?

  16. I certainly admire anyone's passion, to clean up the planet, but it seems, that as some people's passions grow….their brains shrink. As a Power Engineer for 42 years, here is what I know. Roughly 75% of our Electrical demand (Our Lights/Heat/Air Cond./Phones/Internet/etc), that we take for granted, is supplied from Fossil Fuels. Roughly 25% comes from Nuclear Plants, Hydro Plants, Windmills & Solar Panels. Biden & Trudeau (for us Canadians), shutting down the Oil & Gas Industry, does NOT solve anything. If Fossil Fuels, still make up 75% of the supply, to fill the demand, if we're not drilling/processing the Oil & Gas……….the 75% of demand, has to come from somewhere, otherwise we'd all be sitting in the dark, with no Lights/Heat/Air Cond./Phones/Internet/etc….The fact is this: Biden & Trudeau are shutting down the Oil & Gas Industries here in the USofA & Canada, and spinning it, that they're doing it to clean up the Planet, but are actually still burning the Oil & Gas, to supply the 75% that we need……..but they're buying the Oil & Gas from Saudi Arabia/Middle East & Venezuela. Having typed all of that, the cure is NOT to stop burning Fossil Fuels………..it's to stop burning the BAD/TOXIC Fossil Fuels (i.e.: Coal, #6 Fuel/Bunker C, and Diesel Fuels). If the whole Planet could stop burning the BAD Fossil Fuels, I'm convinced that the Planet could heal itself. Don't be lazy. Look at photos online of smoke stacks burning Coal and then look at stacks burning Natural Gas…..you'll be amazed at the difference.

  17. Lomborg wrong about the trend, wrong about the ramifications, wrong about which people are experts, but here he is again. I guess if you want to claim it's not the end of the world, then that's some serious watered-down B S. But it is a problem, and a big problem. It is costing lives and money. It is to be taken seriously, and far more seriously than some non-scientist like Lomborg claims.

He really needs to talk to a climate scientist to get a sense of proportion.

  18. The global environment has a similarity with financial investments, thee warning is the same: past returns is not a guide to future performance. Just because life expectance has increased in the past is no guarantee it will continue to do so while the world is going through a mass extinction event.
Its not the world that is going to end, just the human race.

  19. It looks like a lot of people just commented without listening. Rather than be smug and certain, be open to questioning and actively listen. He says we do need to act, but in ways that help the problem, and enrich people. Read his book False Alarm. The evidence is there. Did I agree with everything he says in the book? No, but the hysteria by the media is just a ploy. It worked for Covid. Now they're trying it with climate. Say it enough times and it becomes the "truth". I don't think the green agenda is ignorance, I see it as malfeasance. "You can't drive as much, you can't travel as much, etc.) They don't intend to save the earth. They want to make money and control you through fear.

  20. Bjorn keeps saying that “the systems” works. Note that he means it is the capitalistic / profit / private industry system that works, not the governmental one that wants to control and regulate all of us and in the process makes great blunders and mistakes.

  21. The Earth has a +- 15 degree C temperature range over a 100,000 year cycle which repeats. Reducing CO2 can only reduce temps .4 C of a degree. The limit is 150 ppm CO2. At this limit, all life on Earth goes extinct. Google it yourself.

There is no climate problem. We have to adapt to the normal temp variations. We have no choice. This temp variation is due to the orbit of the Earth. See Malankovich cycles.
