Atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations have surged from 290 ppm in the 1870s to 421 ppm in 2022, exceeding the safe limit of 350 ppm and reaching the highest levels in millions of years.
Featuring insights from experts like Sunita Narain, Mirik Gogri, Bhumi Pednekar, and Navroz K Dubash, we explore the impacts of climate change and the implications of a dramatic increase in carbon dioxide levels, as well as the looming threat of a 3-degree temperature rise. We also discuss the opportunities and incentives for building low-carbon economies, the evident trend in energy transition, the importance of net-zero emissions, renewable energy, and much more.
We discuss this on both the macro and micro levels, covering everything from tackling climate anxiety to implementing policies at an intergovernmental level for climate change mitigation

Never do I post comments. And regularly listen to some or the other podcast. But never did i ever come across a panelist as unbearable to listen to as Bhumi here. She is so off place here and the humm hummm hummmm just got on my nerves.
So glad you did this
Hope the change is in process
Chipko was a different thing all together.. 😶
Go & listen to Acharya Prashant on Climate change then u will know about the real seriousness about this issue…… Guest in this podcast are total hypocrite specially Bhumi
this podcast was useless for me, barely learned anything, was too lost in the jargons and everybody trying to facade their might. didn't he say that the guests should assume their audience to be 16? guess its just me who's too dumb
Nikhil is meant for bigger things so don't drag him in petty shark tank kinds
Ozone discussion :Everything was right but it sounded like pissed off to tell ozone issue is solved
Only awareness will save us from climate change. Everything else is just an excuse and our trickery. You are not telling the root cause, before knowing about the increasing population, consumerism, we have to know ourselves and to know ourselves we have to introduce ourselves to spirituality, otherwise all these things are just empty talk and nothing else.
had to skip every time Bhoomi spoke, wonder why she was invited on this panel
Clinate change is humans stupidity of endless consumption

Hello Mr. Kamath,
My name is Harshvardhan. I am an entrepreneur and a businessman. I took a drop for my college when I was 18 and since then I am working. I am ambitious and hard-working. I really appreciate your efforts towards encouraging entrepreneurs.
Can I get a chance to meet you personally, spend some time with you, talk to you? I really want to make something big and I need some guidance.
great video on climate change topic
Bhai bollyhood walo ki plz mat bula 😢❤
Bhumi is right about film industry not caring about the environment but inadvertently film industry has also reduced its carbon footprint in the recent years, thanks to VFX. Hopefully shooting n a volume (virtual production) & sets/props made using 3d printing will help in reducing the carbon footprint even more.
Wtf is future tech , ai etc….
At 42:52 listening Sunita felt like Odisha is great at water treatment. Love my state. ❣️
Nikhil I love your podcasts! It's very educational for me and also my 12 YO son.
Stop getting bollywood celebrities they know nothing about real world. Their life starts with action ends with cut. They just support any cause just for views and publictiy.

Perfect t-shirt to wear in this podcast saying 'No one is truly altruistic'!
lot of looser nerds are triggered because of bhoomi
53.00 warmest year on record. Yet winters could be coldest on record in Delhi. India OVERTAKING China in population and increasing trees and forest cover is a big problem. Yet the barren ravines of the Chambal valley supporting a lot of new agriculture with tractors flattening the ravines to form new farmland. Because Sunita and Navroze's Narmada Bachao andolan did not stop the dam (medha Patkar delayed it by a decade) the agricultural production of GUJARAT has shot up ( and the much hyped GUJARAT model) Nikhil has direct access to Joe Biden and every bomb he drops in Ukraine , Russia , Gaza and Palestine causes unnecessary climate change. Nikhil can send Joe Biden a postcard-stop the war. Nikhil, and others in this panel who decide not to have children help stop climate change. As the sun burns and becomes smaller ,we enter the ice age. Tax 50% Elon's SPACE X and Jeff's BLUE Origin as they waste money on space research which can provide homes to all the homeless in USA. India has maximum malnourished children. Make hostels ,orphanages and ashrams for these children and make them into model citizens. Blame BJP for hooliganism , bulldozer BABA, and hate. homelessness and destroying ISKCON temple in Bangladesh
54.00-flood in Libya, harvest the rain to grow crops. When life gives you LEMONs make Lemonade.
Giving tomorrows children real food . Industry can make for children Dark Brown Compound Chocolate which is not real Cocoa. Icecream with chemicals but no cream. Children have no voice.
So insightful 👏
Love the energy and enthusiasm Ms Sunita has while talking about cng and excreta matters even after so many years of she following her passion😊

Sunita should've let others speak without being condescending
When we say ev , ev , do we think about how the battery will be disposed off , is that something environment friendly , why no one is bothered, it will be a hell hole , being an environmentalist ?? Hello wake up
Sunita ji is respectable but too authoritative & not let other open up
