  1. I would be less skeptical if A. China was mentioned at least once in a while as a major GHG source and B. if proposed solutions didn’t start with the destruction of the US economy. While China of course gets a free pass and C I hadn’t grown up in the 70’s. I subscribed to Scientific American and Popular Science amoung many publications. Back then all the boffins were predicting a world ending ice age by the 2000’s.

  3. Disproving new denial is very easy actually
During Covid the climate was actually in a better state, everywhere were indoors not using cars, improving the climate for a short time

  4. Misinformation goes both ways … at least 32 climate changes were made since 1958 and none of them occurred … St Greta of Climate Change predicted in 2018 that humans will start to go extinct in 5 years; she has since deleted the post … dooms day predictions … how dare you!! I have tried to get an accurate idea about climate change but only get politically answers; ie sensational answers from both sides!

  5. Something that I've thought about: When legislation is passed to combat climate change and the climate begins to recover, the same climate change denier WILL point to it getting better and say "See? We were always going to be fine! That work we put in was worthless!"

  6. There we go global elitists who gain power and wealth from the sky is falling an we only have 10yrs or 15yrs or 20yrs look up 32 climate change predictions that didnt come true nobody alive to day is going to see the planet end because of humans contributing to climate change. The earth has been a snow ball a few times a big ocean. Hit by solar flares hit by asteroids earthquakes world wide floods. The shifting of the polls nearly everything that has ever lived is extinct im shure we will be no different one day will join the dinosaur an something else will be here .

  7. I don't believe all these doomers are just a coincidence. These narratives are orchestrated and promoted from my point of view with very powerful lobbying throughout lots of channels. Democracy is controllable and could be inclined towards desirable for money-owners direction

  8. As a tf2 player, I have some experience with doomerists. To them apathy is a virtue worth living by because to them having hope is only the risk of having loss hurt even more, no matter how likely something is to work.

The recent wave of widespread doomerism isn't too bad. Since people are no longer opposed to the existence of climate change and instead apathetic to the effectiveness of policies and regulations ment to slow the affects of climate change, progress can be made now that those who actively oppose action are too apathetic to put in the effort towards stopping said action.

  9. Once denying it entirely became not an option they changed tactics to denying something can be done about it…

It’s almost as if they are not as spontaneous as they want to appear and are in fact organized perhaps with some big entity taking decisions to prevent any climate action from happening.

Or I’m just paranoid after all it’s not like there are massively powerful entities who have even toppled governments whose interest is directly opposed to any sort of climate action right?

  10. If you believe that anthropomorphic, human CO2 affects the climate of the globe, especially the temperature, then present the function formula Temperature=f(human CO2). We will substitute data for any period and see if your function is true. There is no such function T=f(CO2). The temperature rose and CO2 fell. It was also the other way around: the temperature fell and the CO2 concentration rose. The climate scam is being done to raise people's energy prices, and by twice as much.

  11. crap about Chopin. In the time of the dinosaurs the temperature was at 25 oC. So who raised it? There were no people. Then it dropped to the level of Snow White Land. Who lowered the temperature? There were still no people.

  12. It's amazing how stupid people are 😂😂😂 the global elites like the WEF are using Co2 to control us.. Co2 only makes up .04% of 1% of our atmosphere.. it's means nothing 😂😂😂.. the Sun controls weather 😂

  13. "We should replace employment taxes with a pollution tax system, principally CO2. I really believe that would help our economy, our competitiveness" Al Gore

"The threat of environmental crisis will be the international disaster key that will unlock the New World Order" Mikael Gorbachev

“It doesn't matter what is true, it only matters what people believe is true" Paul Watson, Co-founder of Greenpeace

"We've got to ride this global warming issue. Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, we will be doing the right thing in terms of economic and environmental policy." Timothy Wirth, president of the UN Foundation.

"We need to get some broad based support, to capture the public's imagination… So we have to offer up scary scenarios, make simplified, dramatic statements and make little mention of any doubts… Each of us has to decide what the right balance is between being effective and being honest." Prof. Stephen Schneider, Stanford Professor of Climatology, lead author of many IPCC reports.

  14. I have been looking for information which proves it is us. I believe the first two but up until now I have only found facts which prove the first two. Where can I find facts which prove the third, from reliable bodies – not the IPCC but reliable independent bodies.

  15. And here I thought I was a doomer with "we're fucked because capitalism and the state are actively denying climate change and directly stifling research and progress while actively preparing for worst case scenarios." But I guess I am just a pessimist because I do believe it can be stopped and should be stopped.

  16. Your channel is a great idea, thank you!
I only have to criticize one thing: the speed. Towards the end it was a lot better, but before I often found it exhausting to concentrate on everything you were saying. Probably a slower speed could also help you to reach more people, not everyone is a native speaker…
Climate change denyers are a really big problem. During the last years I always thought the Americans were the dumbest people on this planet. Well, since the rise of the AFD, the political climate in Germany has really detoriated, the gap seems to be becoming smaller and smaller.
Only recently I met my godfather and his wife. She's a retired professor, he used to be a teacher at grammar school. Actually educated people, one should think. They have a really high income, whenever they can they visit museums and finish reading a book about twice a week…They hate left-wing cancel culture but like to correct me whenever criticizing politics or medical doctors (after all I can't competetently judge on that, I don't have a university degree in that field).
The same people however don't have any problem giving a shit about what 99% of scientists say about climate change. They know it all better and people who are trying hard to make a difference are idiots anyway. There is nothing you can do to convince them. They just always exclusively listen to what they want to hear. Both of them are so Christian, they go to church every Sunday, the Bible is their most read book. But every time I go there I get the impression they have so much contempt for nature and all the other creatures on this planet. And they give a shit about the young peoples' fears concerning thir future, they even ridiculize and criminalize their attempts to minimize the damage, while they themselves just don't do anything at all. "We are so lucky to be living today! We are having such a high standard of living! Well the next generations might have it harder. Well…" Hypocracy at its best! I even would say, in a certain way they are sick people! I've reached a point where this antisocial ignorance is disgusting me so much, I won't see them any more.
The thing is, it can be so extremely comfortable to be not knowing…

You know what I would really be interested in? If you could make a video on how to best argue with climate change deniers!!! Maybe in the shape of one or several role plays! How can you best reply to the lies and false truths they are spreading!? How can you prove them or the people around you that their argumentation is wrong??? What are the best hard facts you can present? And are there maybe psycholocial approaches that could help us convince them that their state of mind is not in their own interest as well?

After all, we have to be many, if we really want to make a difference…

  17. In Turkey there is a saying that goes like this: "The house is burning. The crazy person is combing his hair."
That's what often comes to my mind when I see how grown-ups rather chop off the branch on which they're sitting instead of accepting responsibility….

  18. Beside the increase in 16 years of greening by an area the size of the United States, all of it, you ignore the 22 billion dollars Egypt is investing in the Danish technique which is turning their sand into farms and Forrest. Local clay combined through the addition of liquified animal dung which introduces fungus. Nothing I heard here is true. I have been told by a NASS spokeswoman that Elneano is warming the planet, black carparks does not heat up in sun. You are promoting a religion.

  19. I call myself I Climate Doomer because of these things:

    – The less care from youth.
    – The less care from both Right and Leftists politicians and activists.
    – The more I research the more dommerism comes.

I do believe Climate Change exists and allways have.

  20. Nuclear is the answer to most of these problems. It is far, far safer than most people believe. Critical is good, reactors are physically unable to explode, and if we put the same amount of money into it as solar and wind, we may have had an actual viable way to recycle uranium. Or we could make thorium reactors that are just better in every way.
