Chris Bowen’s net-zero transition cost claim does not include ‘consumer energy resources’

Energy Minister Chris Bowen claims Australian transition to net-zero will only cost $120 billion, however, AEMO made it “clear” the number does not include consumer energy resources, CIS Energy Program Director Aidan Morrison says.
“It seems like we are building these assets several years earlier even than what the market operators analysis show they are required for,” he said.
“Something like a hundred billion dollars, or something like that at least, I am really amazed that quote came out from Chris Bowen.
“The Australian Energy Market Operator they have made it quite clear – that number does not include consumer energy resources.
“That is all of the rooftop solar and also all of the batteries and that is the lion’s share of the batteries that are required for this transition so enormous amounts of the system simply are not included in that number.”

We need to withdraw from the Paris Accord, repeal the renewable energy targets legislation and use the most economical energy resources available.
Solar panels are a useful supplement in sunny areas between the 35th parallels. Wind has a low energy density and wind power is centuries out of date. We should not waste taxpayers money and resources subsidising wind farms. Nuclear power plants should be legalised.

When you add the extra costings to this renewable energy sources plan that labour party are forcing Australian consumers to pay for it will add up to trillions of dollars extra the batteries alone to store the energy will run into 100's of billions of dollars .
This is some sort of a deal the labour government have made with the Chinese government to buy favour to get Australian Chinese trade agreement's going again .

Read the renewable energy policy they work under set up by John Howard and you will see the biggest scam ever implemented in this country, when a wind turbine just has to turn to produce money whether that energy is used or not you pay for it, you also pay for all the solar energy that is given free into the grid, you can not find out how much of the wind energy actually is being used or how much it takes from the grid for free that you pay for, they wont tell you how much a kilowatt hour costs to produce from a gas or coal fired power plant either as they have a pricing system, all to help the privately owned power companies over charge you.
