I believe qe need to cut our carbon footprint but the only solution we are given is to pay someone money l, whether tax, fine or permit. Im not sure how paying corporations/governments cuts carbon emission.

Calling other people idiots while being this wrong is hilarious, we need to stop wasting time even recording people like this. Climate change is real, man made climate change is real, if you cant tell the difference you shouldnt be allowed to vote or operate heavy machinery
I can understand the arguments against ULEZ and I can even agree NET zero is potentially out of reach but this argument he makes is just asinine. Climate temperatures have indeed gone up and down for millions of years, that isnât the issue. The issue is with the current rate of change which is going to cause a catastrophic imbalance around the globe and that imbalance will be corrected by planet without a care for the living creatures on it. This chap is as fine an example of Dunning-Kruger as youâre likely to see.
Microplastics are non toxic anyway. Thatâs why we put out food in these containers. Thatâs another scare tactic although I do agree, they should not be in the oceans in the first place.

Ulez isn't about net zero
Bros argument against careful and comprehensive scientific analysis and numerous studies is "nah mate we can't".
This is what happens when you waste a generation's schooling on "we used to rule a quarter of the world" rather than teaching scientific literacy.
The cycles he is referring to are an astrophysical phenomenon called Milankovitch cycles and they operate on a time scale of over 20,000 years minimum. The effects of Milankovitch cycles are incapable of being the cause of our current massive increase in temperate over the last 100 years.
As an interesting side note: our current place on the Milankovitch cycles is a COOLING phase. Even IF these cycles were affecting the Earth on such short time scales, it would be a cooling not heating.
This guy has never researched the things he adamantly believes and protests.
