‘Net zero comedy show’: Chris Bowen blasted for ‘lowballed cost’ of power transition

Sky News host Rowan Dean has blasted Energy Minister Chris Bowen for his “lowballed cost” of transitioning Australia’s power.
Mr Dean said there are claims the energy minister “lowballed” the cost of transitioning the country’s power grid to net zero by as much as a hundred billion dollars.
“What’s that to a Labor pollie?” Mr Dean said.
“That’s a hundred billion dollars of your money extra that’s going to be splurged in this net zero comedy show.”
The Sky News host said Mr Bowen has been “wasting all our money on hopelessly inefficient renewables”.

Government needs to take back all utilities. Cheaper power will only come if we own them ourselves. Big companies many of them are foreign and only interested in their profits. Nuclear and pump storage are great reliable zero emission power options. Why are Chris Bowen and Albo destroying the Illawarra and other local communities, when there are other options available. The Illawarra relies heavily on tourism, weekend visitors, day trippers and international students. The university is the largest employer in the Illawarra. No one is going to come to the Illawarra with 300 centrepoint sized wind turbines parked off the coast. The Illawarra region is going to fall off a financial ciliff, it's going to cost thousands of local jobs and destroy the Illawarra forever. Chris Bowen and Albo need to go. Vote these idiots out!
