The installed capacity of onshore and offshore wind (27GW), is about 43% of the UK total, generating capability. In the year ending Jun 23, they actually delivered just 24% of UK demand. Last year, electricity cost, went up about 19%. Talk about less is more!

Net zero is a load of bollocks. CO2 accounts for 0.04% in our atmosphere, total none sense .
Both Labour and Conservative and especially Labour are utter fools , totally irresponsible, basing this absurd and reckless net zero drive on a lie. There is no catastophic climate change about to happen now, in 2030 or 2035 and beyond. CO2 levels in the atmosphere of the planet are around the 420 ppm mark.This is low. It is the Sun that chiefly drives the vast complex entity that we call weather, largely in the Troposphere. To try and base electricity generation on flimsy wind and solar is utter madness, as is the ridiculous obsession with electric cars. Even if there were an incremental warming of the planet, which is to do with complex interactions with the Sun and Earth's orbit, not human industrial and internal combustian engine emissions, which hardly scratch the surface of the atmosphere in terms of what it does, net zero would make not a shred of difference.

Every household needs to purchase batteries, such as EcoFlow Delta Pro, to keep appliances, etc. running during Labour government blackouts.
What are we doing about increasing our elec for 2050 when we have no fossils. We are talking trillions not millions. Wind and solar farms 4 times what we have now, 400 new gas nd 50 nuclear, New grid £3 trillion. So much chaos it is unbelievable and all these things happening concurrently. Totalreappraisal needed. Urgently.
You'd need a Battery the size of Birmingham to store all the energy for when the wind doesn't blow or the sun don't shine' what you going to do with a toxic Battery that size every 10 or 15 years when they no longer work' they're very expensive to recycle.
