We are already doomed. The oven has been turned on and it is in the process of the warming stage. All it takes is a week of 100+f and crops are seriously damaged. a month and complete crop failure. The stats are eye opening, as the world warms significantly faster than expected. By 2030 if will be too late no matter want we do, the world will fry.
Why, fossil fuel consumption increased by 2%, American is drilling like mad. There is no hope to get china, the us, europe, brazil, canada to do anything significant to reduces the billions of tons of co2 being pumped into the atmosphere. Know anything, that can take 8 billion tons of co2 out of the atmosphere?

HA, HA, HA! According to the EU's C3S, we'll see 2 degC by 2027, 3 degC by 2032, and at least 1 deg increases over the 1991-2020 baseline every 5 yrs. thereafter. We can see 6 degC by 2047, so this slick piece, using a pre-industrial baseline, is highly misleading and may be a fossil fuel lobby production. We are full-on in a state of climate collapse. And the rising CO2 is, guess what, the product of our burning fossil fuels, and is not the main problem. You and I generate 3,000+ BTUs per day just by metabolizing our carbon based food, along with our 8B bros and sistas. Still want to bring another innocent life into being, just to celebrate his/her 23rd BD at 6 degC in 2047.
Well done and well meaning, but way, way off on the timeline. Eliot Jacobson taught me about the many differing baselines being used, and the longer, say all the way back to 1850 "preindustrial", will give the lowest global temp increase on average, and that's why it's so important to use the C3S baseline of 1991-2020. Global temps are increasing on a "hockey stick" graph, one with a sudden and steep increase in more recent times. My advice is to stick with the EU's C3S.

Why aren't we doing more? Because people keep saying things like "the potential of extreme weather catastrophes is VERY LOW" (like this in this video). We are already WELL in our way to seeing extreme weather catastrophes. If we don't tell people the truth, nothing will ever get done. It might already be too late.
Every estimate of the impact of climate change has been an underestimate. Global warming is only one risk. The other is ecosystem collapse that has triggered the sixth mass extinction. It's a one-two punch that will trigger the worst-case scenario.
The Modi government has taken several steps to address climate change, including:
1. Net-zero emissions target : India has set a target of achieving net-zero emissions by 2070, as announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the COP26 summit in Glasgow.
2. Renewable energy targets : The government has set ambitious renewable energy targets, including 500GW of renewable energy capacity, and has announced plans to triple renewable energy capacity by 2030.
3. Mission Innovation : India is a founding member of "Mission Innovation," a global initiative to accelerate the clean energy revolution and achieve the Paris Agreement goals.
4. Green GDP : Prime Minister Modi has suggested the concept of green GDP, which takes into account the environmental consequences of economic activities.
5. Climate-friendly policies : The government has announced several climate-friendly policies, including a rooftop solar scheme, electric vehicle manufacturing, and biofuel production.
6. International cooperation : India has played a key role in international climate negotiations, including the Paris Agreement and the G20 Summit, and has called for global cooperation to address climate change.
We've become a throwaway society. 50 and 60 years ago people used to fix any broken appliance… Now they just throw it away and replace it with a new one.
Provocateur extraordinaire ! Itâs funny how sea levels world wide are only rising 2.7mm per year and they have been at that rate for last couple of centuries.. Just for the benefit of all.. if you examine Palaeolithic records of co2 vs temp youâll note that there was a NO CORRELATION.. Additionally, the Hawaii records of co2 AKA The Keeling graph, was unable to detect any variation in co2 following the Covid lockdowns or the large industrial uptake in 2000 from India and from china.. furthermore, Dansgaurd Oeschger oscillations occurring during the quaternary period showed huge anomalies in temp and co2 wherein temp rose by 5-15 deg in as little as a few decades and this occurred several times over the 700k year records via ice core data.. There seems to be a synchronous duality between co2 effect and ocean gyres which has only become omnipresent since the closure of the typhus sea.. Finally l, beryllium 10 isotope data shows a perfect correlation to the mini ice age and it is now understood that the suns heliosphere is pivotal to the solar systemâs ability to deflect GCR (deep space particles travelling at 50k km/sec) as these partial ionise the upper atmosphere and seed cloud formation which in turn blocks sun light and increase our reflection or earths albedo.. This finding was further verified via sun spot records which show a weakening sun.. Currently the earths magnetosphere is weakening and it is not entirely clear as to the reasons why as such we know itâs weakening because we are detecting Aurora lower latitudes, even though the Sun has not been particularly active.. if you are wish to remain attached to 200-year-old scientists under misunderstood concepts, then please do so anyone who believes that CO2 has the ability to do. The heavy lifting of climate change is a clown. I have given you all the facts here, you need now to go and examine these facts for yourselves do not let dark green or deep green as I like to call it try and follow people educate yourself donât take my word for it

The reason nobody takes climate change seriously enough to fix the problems is because people like you keep trying to tie it into identify and class warfare politics. Keep it up and you'll ensure the future is grim.
The people least affected, will be the ones that caused it. Poor southern Trump endorsers will be the first Americans to be displaced, or killed by the heat, they voted to ignore.
CO2 is nothing at all to do with this. Radiation is energy transferred by photons. Only at low CO2 levels is there any heating above 20ppm it decreases on a log basis. The Pen Uni found no measurable increase un temperature avove 340ppm. Why does it decrease in heating? A lack of higher energy photons from the Sun.
No secondary radiation resonates with CO2 molecule. Back radiation at night is named but it's not even possible. The Frost protection we see with cloud cover is not radiation but a convection effect.
Adding CO2 now has negligible effect so net zero will cause only pain with no benefit what ever.

The warmer the Earth gets, the greater the population. We have 8 billion people and it's been the warmest ever. You people are idiots.
We knew about this in the 70s. President Jimmy Carter had solar panels installed on the roof of the White House. Ronald Reagan and the Republican party was backed by Big oil. Same with the President Bush and Trump. We could have invested trillions of dollars into renewable energy instead of the military and useless wars. They need to be held accountable.
