They are trying to eco terrorize poor people, not because they dont see what they are doing themselves, but because its in numbers. Im not sure about the exact numbers, but lets say she generated x10,000 more carbon footprint than average person. You'd still need to have 33000 Taylors to match the rest of US population. I am not trying to defend her or the rich, as this is just hypocrisy from their part, but by the numbers, they'd have to try REALLY hard to match poor people, because there is so many of them. While I dont exactly like the hypocrisy, I do understand that changing stuff for EVERYONE will make a bigger impact than trying to target the rich first. Im not saying we shouldnt, but thats not the root problem, and believe me if I said "tax cars so much that only rich people can have them, the rest goes to public transport", nobody would agree. That would solve a lot (we are talking worldwide, before first smartass tries to say "china"), but people will instantly revolt against the idea because its also "giving rich more privileges". I would be happy to see rich getting limitations, but objectively, that wont solve anything.

You have to consider the fact, that on each stop, she gives job for hundreds of people.. venue, stage builders, light, audio, video, riggers, caterers, cleaning, etc.. they are working a lot with locals everywhere, because it's not possible to fly a crew this big everywhere. Also a private jet is inevitable at her pace I think

It all makes sense. Succesfull people are less worried about climate change, because we live in a capitalist society and more money means better adaptibility. It is the lower classes that needs to worry about it. Especially if they don't leave anything for their children.

so if the average is 4T, and she got ~1200T that means shes worth 300 people —- BUT, as we have seen, she is nto going alone but also her staff, else how can be there two jets going around the same time, she cant be two places —- with that, lets say the staff with her are 6 people, meaning each only is worth 300/6=50 people … and the whole things seems not AS bad anymore …. also reminder: there are not as many taylor swifts around as normal people, so rich peoples contributions are pretty neglectable.
in fact ALL personal travel CO2 emisions together are neglectable, they make up only less than 10%, the rest is caused by INDUSTRY ☝🧐 … so lets the faulty be the one to change!
