Geologist Ian Plimer believes UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak “will lose government” because of his energy policies.
These comments follow warnings from the UK Energy Minister that the net zero push could negatively impact businesses.
“As soon as a politician says net zero, you know that politician is heading for extinction,” Mr Plimer told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“The community is not stupid.
“The community knows that net zero is costing them a fortune and will cost them even more.
“The community knows that their electricity bills have gone up.”
