I start prepping in 2004 when I somehow survived the Boxing Day Tsunami when I was backpacking in Indonesia and saw how people were unprepared.
I first thought the guy was saying that when push comes to shove that he will eat his cats, but then I saw how many cats he has and realised that he is a cat lover, so its much more likely that HE will be eaten by his cats. Cats don't give a fuck
Very few people can survive in the wild with the resources they can carry on their bag. But many believe they can. The thing is that if the city is that bad that you have to abandon your home, guess what, you are not the only one.
How will they protect their life and few goods they have if Germans gave big brother their responsibility of self defense?
A good idea to have a dog with you. It will come handy after a week without food. Either to help you dig your hole or your last meal.
Too bad most people prep to be against each other instead of prepping to be able to support each other ЁЯХ╡ЁЯП╗ЁЯХ╡ЁЯП╛тАНтЩАя╕ПЁЯХ╡ЁЯП╗тАНтЩАя╕ПЁЯХ╡ЁЯП╛!!!

ha,ha. people in europe have nowhere to go. prep for what, where are you going? your best bet is to form a community. in the u.s. we have a bunch of wannabe navy seals with 15 tons of sht they couldnt take with them if someone gave them a fleet of amazon trucks. prepping is what many people have done for centuries, learning how to put food by, bartering, working with our hands, etc.
you will find out if youve never eaten mres and have to eat them for a week or so. (or forever)
any time the SHTF happens people only survive by forming small communities. buy all the junk you can afford, your making someone happy.
use your noodle. even if your financially secure, what if you go down? be part of something that will benefit a small group that will do the same for you.

People will mock us for being "paranoid" about the future, and obviously some things like WW3 or preparing for mass combat is not the best use of your time, but then when a disaster, *we know disasters are inevitable*, comes, who do they come crawling to two weeks after a terrible flood and they're out of clean water?
Who gets a knock and a plea when the next recession, that will be worse than the last given how capitalism works, hits them and they're not able to get medical treatment, so they need a medic?
Who is going to be the one running the community after a disaster so extreme, the government can't reel things back in for months, then years, then never?
Yeah, that's what I *though*.
Here in Louisiana after hurricane Ida we were without power for 11 days in 98 degrees heat
The old and helpless will be wiped out in a few days just for there supplies, protection of supplies is going to take a army

Why is it considered a movement . Years ago it was just life now people have made it prepping and now itтАЩs a movement. I see it as people profiting over living in fear.

A lot of these prepper organizations need to start keeping a low profile loose lips sink ships.. because the government is cracking down on a lot of these organizations.. out of sight out of mind.. we all know the crap is going to hit the fan we just don't know when it's going to happen.. thousands of people are suffering right now as I speak.. especially people on a fixed income.. I live in a camper because I can't afford anything.. Social Security Disability does not give me crap to live on.. I can't afford the rent or any of the utilities.. my worst fear is becoming homeless and severely handicapped on top of it.. how about making a video covering the topic.. of prepping for handicapped family members.. elderly family members handicapped children.. I mean I am going to be a target for people no question on it.. because I use a set of crutches. I have no friends or family to be with either no one on my street is on board either.. the people around me think everything is sunshine and rainbows nothing bad is going to happen.. being homeless again is always on the back burner for me because I have done that back in 2019.. I was that way when I was in my twenties as well.. but it's a little bit more fun when you are young and healthy and are able to do everything not when you're broken down and severely handicapped
And a few tips for homeless people as well.. you don't look like you are homeless do not brag about being homeless.. keep yourself clean keep your clothing clean.. and that goes for prepping as well.. I mean don't brag about it

Prepping is like an insurance. You prepare for a certain risk that can happen ( and hopely never happens ) but nobody knows when this risk will happen. In fact, it is not crazy at all.
If one or more family members is wounded, ill or disabled, than it will be a lot more difficult to go to a save place or refuge.

It's so cute and funny how 1st world people even have a term, "Prepper," or "Survivalist," or "Preparedness," to what 3rd world nation people know to be just common sense and everyday living. Anyone who has ever spent 3 weeks in any 3rd world nation knows. Everyone has at least 2 weeks worth of food. Know how to steal power, or use car batteries to generate it, if they don't already have inverters and power generators. It is also normal in 3rd world countries to see homes with cisterns, and rain water barrels. In 3rd world nations, lawn mowers are something only dumb people use, any would be green area, is destined to grow food and fruit trees. People know how to flush toilets with water buckets and open food cans with a knife. Meanwhile, in 1st world nations people don't even know how to cross the street without a machine telling them when to cross.ЁЯШЕЁЯШВ "The first, shall be the last."
It is a fact, reality : food and water will be more and more rare, so very expensive, like a luxury. There'll be less and less job because of IA and internet, so a huge amount of poverty will take place. All this will lead to a devastating violence and starvation…
With the twin crisis of the Great Recession and COVID pandemic. We were reminded how fragile our civilization really is. Would I go to that extreme. I don't want to survive the end of the world.
The way he dressed, I am sure he will be robbed if the end of day truly comes. A well equipped preparer are way more in danger when many people struggle to survive all around you. In my opinion, if I want to prepare for the, I would only carry very minimal gears and I need learn how to get everything necessary from nature or surroundings.
