  1. Maybe remove regulations stopping people that want to buy a plot of land, to make a house with their own 2 hands.
I should be able to buy a suitable plot, make a nice Tiny House with my Fiancée, Insulate it, get solar panels or wind, battery and use permaculture to filter my water naturally, along with building out a nice deck.

The rules are what prevent good people making their dream of affordable home ownership possible.
It should be possible for communities to naturally spring up, making their own homes and communities, just like Homesteaders did in the past.

  2. Ella & Rayner have no understanding of no idea about new towns, the infrastructure required is immense. Town planning is on a different level to building a few house on a brown field site & takes years if not decades. Final nail is cost…& Who is paying sounds like a new pfi scheme from the Blair years!

  3. She is so delusional we are a small country the problem is to many people , do you really want to live on top of each other our service are streched and broken due to to many foreigners vote reform if shit were brains she would not smell VOTE REFORM for a change

  4. Building new towns means supplying services water electricity ect. to areas where it does not exist just increases the cost of building . Using brown field sites is much more cost effective . but Ella doesn't seem to have any idea of reality.

  5. "A brand new town popping up at the end of your road" is not a new town, it's an expansion of an existing town which is happening all over the place now. A new separate town, needs jobs and if you put a town in the middle of nowhere with no jobs, you ruin that country side and then create a 'not very green' commuter base or a welfare 'settlement'. Look where the jobs/industries are or create new ones in existing areas and rejuvenate – you can look at this channel for many viable candidate towns. https://www.youtube.com/@Turdtowns/videos

  6. Could they build on brown field sites on waste land in cites rather than destroying small communities and the countryside, at the end of the day the houses are really for people coming from abroad

  7. People talking about curbing immigration , over population and environmental problems and actually doing anything about them are two very, very different things. That is how it has been for many, many years, and almost certainly that is how it will be for many, many more.

  8. The new Labour Government claims they will build 1.5 million new homes over the next five years, whilst currently writing to every Council in the Country insisting that they house more illegal immigrants, we must assume therefore that the new homes will be for the immigrants & not the indigenous population!
