DeSantis strips term ‘climate change’ from Florida state laws, policies repealed | Facing South FL

In this week’s edition of Facing South Florida:
Governor Ron DeSantis recently signed a series of bills that stripped the term ‘climate change’ from many state laws. The bills also revised other climate friendly policies. CBS News Miami Jim DeFede speaks to the Vice President of the CLEO Institute. Susan Glickman has been advocating for renewable energy in Florida for decades and helped craft many of the policies now repealed.
Plus, DeFede talks to Miami Lakes Mayor Manny Cid, who is running to unseat Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava. The county mayoral race could be one of the most contentious races in South Florida this year. Although this is a non-partisan race, it’s no secret that Levine Cava is a democrat and Cid is a Republican. Cid talks about the issues plaguing the county, and why voters should choose him.
