The Central American country of Panama has become the first island nation to evacuate its island due to climate change. As the island’s submerging risks increase, the government has relocated around three hundred families from a tiny island off Panama’s Caribbean coast. Experts warn that the island might submerge within decades. However, the people who have lived on the island for over 200 years say that the newly built houses are just brick-and-mortar structures, not homes. That water is from ice melt. They are on a glacier and it will be gone soon. The sea levels are rising and it is TOO LATE to stop it. A small island off the Carribean side of Panama began evacuating ALL inhabitants A WEEK AGO! The government built a community to house the more than 300 people displaced by rising water. The islanders have been there for over 200 years and have watch their history be swallowed by the sea. And not by any fault of their own.
Coastal cities don't have much time before this type of mass/total evacuation. And I'm talkin 10s of millions of displaced people! I live in a safe area, 550 meters above sea level. Do you?

Why do the wealthy still invest and prosper, but the common man is told that they have no hope for the future because of the alleged climate change?

If you scare people out of investing, you can buy low.
Then, you begin pumping that investment back up.
When you see a profit, you sell.
Orange crops, wheat crops, and cirn crops are commodities.
They rely on a good long-term weather forecast for investment.
If the weather forecast is bad, investment is low.

Take note of the fact that all climate change predictions include the words
May, might, could, would, or terms like very well, just might, its possible, its speculated, there is a possibility.
UNCERTAINTY.
It creates FEAR.
It propagates paranoia.
They're spreading rumors.

Been watching climate predictions for years and not just climate change. And their predictions were wrong. It would be like listening to economic predictions over the years and believing it. Then ending up living payday to payday or worse … Wait .. Okay bad comparison that did come true

The island is just an average of 18" above sea level. They have been flooded almost every year for many years. They just now are making a big deal about it. It's only 2 blocks long and 1 block wide. It should have been abandoned 50 years ago.

UNITED NATIONS – 'Climate Change' refers to long-term shifts in the taxes you pay for nothing in return, mostly due to the Science Government Complex.
I keep hearing that humans are responsible for climate change but the current solar maximum gets no credit at all. It was pro-active of Panama to get their people moved. One recent solar storm penetrated that region in the Atlantic. That's heating things up and I don't suppose all the garbage in the ocean is helping the cooling process.
Maybe, just maybe, they will be able to figure out how to continue living sustainably and continue to thrive.
They are being relocated to Guna land. The gov't helped with providing the labor and homes according to another report.
Time will tell what will become of this group of humans who have lived a simple and sustainable life for generations.
The developed countries don't care about climate change. We continue to drive unnecessarily, to take vacations far away, to buy plastic crap at walmart, to eat too much meat, and to buy cheap clothing that goes to the landfills. We send 'thoughts and prayers' to the starving, the drowning, and those who die of heat stroke. Such a shame it happened to them..

Global warming has been dead at 1°C since 1992. Islands sink due to geologic conditions. Sea level rise is world wide not just on a few islands and has been very stable. This video contains the UN Climate Change disclaimer. Global warming was officially stated at 1.1°C in 1991 and 1.06°C in 2022. There is no mechanism that would allow greenhouse gas behavior to cause global warming. The back of the United Nation's IPCC science report states it took its greenhouse gas samples at 20,000 meters altitude where it is common high school level knowledge there is no greenhouse radiant energy. This is typical practice for deceptive marketing to state legal data transparency protecting the perpetrators from fraud prosecution.
Earth's greenhouse effect is frequently used as a primary example to high school students of a system always in saturation from the strong greenhouse gas water vapor absorbing all the greenhouse radiant energy from the earth with greenhouse gases within 20 meters of the surface that is all around us everyday and can't have its overall effect changed. There is no further greenhouse radiant energy to interact with greenhouse gases. At 1% average tropospheric water vapor over 99% of earth’s greenhouse effect is from water vapor. Water vapor would hold earth's greenhouse effect in saturation if it were the only greenhouse gas in the atmosphere.
Arctic warming is taking place with the proving mechanism being warm Atlantic Ocean waters migrating deeper and more frequently into the Arctic Ocean warming it and the region. That warmer water is causing a few weeks less of reflective snow and ice coverage resulting in more solar heat gain to the Arctic region surface.
Atmospheric CO2 levels of 1200 ppm about three times what they are today would greatly invigorate C3 plants the majority of plant life on earth greatly greening the planet.
0.4% of the atmosphere is CO2 and on average 1% is H20 water vapor. (1% H20)/(0.4% CO2) = 25. Water vapor is 25 times more present in the atmosphere on average than CO2. Water vapor has an CO2e of 18, 18 X 25 = 450 CO2e total for water vapor to 1 CO2e for CO2.
The Earth’s oceans have 3-1/2 million sea floor volcanic vents warming the water and changing it’s chemistry that have not been systematically accounted for.
