Congratulations to Dr Mann, and many thanks for his outstanding science and courageous work standing up to the unfair attacks on him as a person and as a scientist!

Carbon and pollution sequestration coupled with biosphere building, especially with top soil renewal, is our best opportunity to save our culture and probably our species.
Biofuels are our best option, and algae is the best producer.

The "hot models" that predicted this trend had been mostly ignored. Those same models which are being referred to here ("in line with predictions") which have been ignored also do not agree with things suddenly stabilizing if we stop burning fossil fuels. This is cherry picking facts to fill a narrative. Got to be able to sell a solution. After all, it is all about Capitalism first and foremost.

"What can we do to slow it down?" Reduce our carbon footprints, like we did when COVID-19 shutdowns reduced oil consumption so much that the dealers were paying customers to take it away.
I have 3 beloved step-children and so it pains me greatly to say this. But I can see no feasible way of avoiding climate catastrophe without shutting down our global capitalist and competitive system. And that appears extremely unlikely.
