It also comes as Reform UK vowed to scrap net zero targets in its General Election manifesto. The party hopes this will save £30 billion a year for the next 25 years.
Harry says world leaders “haven’t reckoned with” how people would react to the targets.

Nuclear is the low carbon option. Modern plants can be designed and built with decommissioning in mind significantly reducing the costs of shut down later.

They want you to believe that there is a direct correlation between rising c02 and warming which is simply not true, approximately 500 million years ago there was an ice age on Earth and the c02 was 6000ppm (proven by taking ocean floor core samples, aka, real science) today the c02 in our atmosphere is at 400ppm, so by they’re own scientific logic, Earth should be in another ice age.

Russel doesn’t really understand that transport and heating and hot water with industry will need us to quadruple our elec capacity Also all the renewables are only 20 to 30% efficient. Also they need backup which will cost many times more and last only 10 years.
What we have now is perfect for electricity the problems start when we start to get rid of fossil like gas, petrol deisel, oil, whilst replacing them with elec. No one has addressed this on 90% of our energy we are talking just in uk £10 trillion with building improvements and without battery backup £30. Trillions
This net zero watch bloke is way off the mark. Fracking would bring bills down by creating massive wealth to compensate but if others did it the overall cost of gas would drop dramatically and Europe would be self sufficient. Battery backup for renewables will cost 30 trillion£. every 10 years. Turbines may last 20 years . Compare this with gas and nuclear that will last 80 to 100 years without full replacement.
