Rather than trying to put words in Nigel Farage’s mouth, Nick Robinson would do well to try asking questions and waiting for answers if he wants to be taken seriously as a competent interviewer and journalist. He comes across as a propagandist for the left and does the BBC and it’s licence fee payers, not to mention democracy, a disservice.
What a tool..get an answer to your "question" (accusation) before interrupting or perhaps unable to gain ground change tack halfway through the answer to another accusation. No one with a brain can deny global warming isn’t a problem but what Nigel is saying is all the people overreacting about it right now instead of calming down and making some actually intelligent decisions on how to combat it instead of all flapping trying to find any bit of technology right now like electric vehicles that actually cause more pollution because of having to be powered by power plants which in turn causes more pollution into the air than if every one of those people were driving in normal cars
If Farage suggests solutions let him state them. He has never done any detailed, constructive work on anything. And yes, the interviewer should have challenged him on what solutions he has instead of interrupting
Nigel is right and the interviewer is a disgrace – he should shut up for 30 seconds and listen to what Nigel is saying, for a change. Or is it that he is too intellectually challenged to comprehend what Nigel was saying?
