Climate change fear monger.
We are failing our childrens future because we won't dare to change the way we live, which is for money and don't even think of other life on the planet and it's suatainable way of life. We need to evolve.

I do not give money to anyone running for office. If they don't have the money .Don't run.

Lots of talk … limited and contradictory actions.
China makes affordable EV's … banned.
China makes affordable solar panels … banned.
China makes affordable wind power generators … banned.
China makes affordable nuclear … soon to be banned.
Combustible and hybrid cars are still getting made – ask Toyota. People struggle to afford EVs and USA blocks affordable China EV vehicles. We also need to get real with cost and subsidizing areas. You are not going to be able to fight nature, you have to adapt. Throwing billions at infrastructure in areas that are high risk is silly and only delays the inevitable – with high opportunity costs. Humans are going to be migrating in ways we've never seen. That is where the infrastructure needs to be prioritized.
Only the U.S. and only US businesses will give money to the UN. The rest of the world has their hands out to receive it. But it will not change the climate. It will turn America into another third world country… which is the goal of the communist UN.
The BOTH SIDES IDEAS FESTIVAL in Aspen. NOT HELPFUL. Why is the GOP not widely denounced as the most dangerous and willfully ignorant political party in the planet?????? Why are climate AND democracy denial GOP politicians being voted for dog catcher anywhere, never mind USA presidential candidate???? Not a word about this political criminal enterprise owned by the fossil fuel industry, undermining democracy AND the planet.
If you're local climate changes some, remember that others in the world have been successfully living in more extreme climates around the world for millenia, and you can move if you want.

How are we going to solve climate change when we can't even figure out healthcare?
The biggest one can do to abate climate change costs absolutely nothing. That is to quit consuming to the excess. Downsize! Quit being glutton. Kerry in babbling up so much smoke, is actually out to save the capitalist economy more than he is out to save the climate.

Excellent panel and interviews! I learned so much about the economics of responding to the climate change crisis and found these interviews enlightening and inspiring.
I’m not sure why am watching this because it makes me sort of sick. First off to get off of fossil fuels you need every country in the world, including China, Russia, Iran, USA, Canada, etc. etc. to truly reduce fossil fuel emissions. But I’m not even sure that would work at this point. I found it interesting, I am not an expert on these matters, that trying to correct the amount of pollution and carbon emissions in the shipping industry, which is vast, they either removed or took out most of the sulphur in the mix that they use to power the ships. Apparently the sulphur created a buffer between sunlight and the earth and actually reduced the amount of greenhouse heating up that happens. Unfortunately, trying to spew all of this stuff in the atmosphere will make it almost impossible for us to breathe. My answer will not be popular…. people will move. People will die and the world will continue. That is not my hope but a more realistic outlook. Giving money to all these major corporations that constantly talk about this matter while they fly around on their jets, etc. etc. is pointless. Tell them to go home I am 71 years old and not long for this planet, but I look at my grandchildren and think what will happen to them. They live on a horse farm in Ontario. I can imagine they can convert a small portion of that to growing food. Providing we don’t have massive unrest and people roaming around the country, shooting people when times get tough.

Repairing the damage of climate catastrophe should be paid for by the people who profited the most from creating it. They have made many trillions in profit and those trillions should be used to fix the problems from which these energy moguls profited.
You need a lot more open conversations like this if you want to drive investment into green technologies at the target rate and speed up adoption. The pros are pretty evident, but more widespread open conversation about the pros and cons is necessary
