many of these floods are caused by water collecting on tarmac/concrete drives and car parks etc, when once it was open ground and that water naturally drained away. Now it cant due to said building works, so we get floods !!!

We could give the climate change crowd all the resources on earth they still wouldn't even be able to simply put out 1 of the thousand of mine fires currently burning coal . 1000x what humans could burn if they tried. It's all a joke quit lying to everyone.
The last mini ice age recorded almost the exact conditions we are have today and for the past 10 or more years, If you know anything you understand that extreme climate conditions are just starting and will continue to get worse as time moves forward. And the home the U.S. is currently building will never withstand these escalating climate events. To put this in perspective the last mini ice age (or extreme cold spell ) 1st one started around 1660, and the 2nd one started around 1770 and lasted until 1850 according to the Wikipedia page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Ice_Age And it will happen again and when it does the world will not be able to grow food on land or even live on land, but will need to live under ground until this period ends

Going from all the comments people still haven't got a grasp of what climate change actually means for life on Earth. It is very simple. Unless we reduce the heat, the weather will get worse and worse and this includes how hot it can become. Furthermore, reducing the heat is not something that can happen with a 911 call. It will take a long time to reduce the heat. If we fail there is no future for anyone or any other animal or creature on Earth today. We have to start today.
I know. This is alarmist. Nobody else says this. In America, people don't say things like this even when it is true. I have followed what is happening for a long time. I am one of the hated people called a scientist. I just state what I think is going to happen. The entire world has to cooperate otherwise we end up dead.

Please folks read history and stop getting information from youtube. In the 70's there was an uce age coming and it was going to kill mankind. Then there was global warming and the average temperature started to fall. So they renamed it climate change so that if it goes up down storm get better or worse it's can be blamed on climate change. The weather runs in cycles. Look at the 1940's and you'll see vvery similar weather patterns.
It can't be denied but people do or people think it's just a natural phenomenon.
Nothing you do will stop nature doing what it does for millions of years. The earth has been going back and forth, warming and cooling for millions of years.
