  1. Wind turbines are a farce. I have worked around that industry and the only thing green about it is the politicians robbing the taxpayers to incentivise construction of a supposed viable form of energy. Most wind turbines cannot generate enough revenue to pay for their construction and upkeep. Solar is a far better option.

  2. Florida need to add "Hurricane" along with "Storm surges" to the list and have Meat Ball sign it into laws and all the "peoples" in Florida will be safe. What a bunch of brainless morons. I doubt they can hold a job at McDonald's because there they can't BS all days long and get paid!

  3. Florida shouldn't allow windmills in their state, period. There is nothing environmentally friendly about it. The building on land requires massive space clearing of natural habitat, mining of rare earth minerals, government subsidies to be economical, killing many birds during it's lifetime, while not even creating energy 24/7, which just brings it to the break even point after its 20 years or so lifespan, and you still have to rely on fossil fuels. Oh, I almost forgot it's ugly, and no-one want's it in their back yard.

Building off coast requires mining of rare earth minerals, government subsidies to be economical, killing many birds and whales during it's lifetime, while not even creating energy 24/7, which just brings it to the break even point after its 20 years or so lifespan, and you still have to rely on fossil fuels. Yeah, it's ugly as well, and no-one want's this view on their cost and beaches.

  4. I bet the average IQ in Florida is below the average with ole white boots in that mix. Don’t ya just love how politicians and other none science and undereducated people are setting policy for others to clean up later? That’s ok, with climate change, the state that’s most vulnerable will soon be swimming. The Darwin Award recipient in the future.

  5. Florida power customers buy a lot of electricity sourced by wind turbines from outside the state, but there's no talk of banning that.

  6. Well Florida is run by crooks and fools. So who's surprised… That's cool.. Florida can deal eith their issues on their own .. who cares about Florida I surw don't..

  7. They kill birds, and actually use electricity when wind stops blowing, and cannot be recycled. They destroy natural beauty. Another money making project under the guise of saving the planet, when it does the opposite.

  8. Some people with crazy political agendas that make No sense…..Late capitalism…watta gonna do…where crazy beats logic because people are not thinking properly anymore! Watch our world in decline!

  9. Go Nuclear or gas or both and some Renewables
An all Renewables approach is destroying the landscape and creating visual pollution. Renewables also take up enormous amounts of land. Nuclear in comparison takes up very little and is more reliable 24/7. Nuclear plants last up to 80 years. Renewables need replacing every 20-25 years. With renewables you also have an enormous waste problem. Where do you dump 10's of thousands of wind turbine blades and disused towers. Renewables are are swindle farms making millionaires very wealthy. You need a balanced mixed that don't destroy our landscapes or oceans. Put solar on all houses and commercial buildings not on farming land which seems to be happening in a lot of countries.

  10. Please stop calling power generation wind turbines "windmills". They don't mill anything: they generate electricity without burning stuff and exhausting pollutants. They also don't affect whales (just sayin').

  11. The leaders in this country are out of their minds. If wind turbines don't work then won't capitalism fix that?? When government decides what businesses can exist, THAT IS COMMUNISM! WTH?
