  1. Why do you assume warming is a bad thing? It seems to me people are being lied to about this entire subject. The energy transition prescribed is much worse. 7-14x mining and materials transport and billions of humans starving and living in a grinding state of poverty.

  2. Ppl not trained in statistics and science will have a complete different takeaway from what Sabine is saying in this video. You can't predict absolute climate temp value. Think about it. When was your week from now forecast ever 100% . Temp fluctuates throughout the day. It's meant to be in a range. So many ppl are hearing what Sabine said and going ' i knew it, climate change is a hoax/greatly exaggerated. Sabine says what she says to improve the power of the paper

  3. IPCC is a board to study climate change. If they find there is no climate change, or nothing anyway to worry, all IPCC staff will be jobless. So better keep scaring people and keep the job. Also, how otherwise justify nearly 100 billion euros/year in carbon taxes?

  4. Men who do not use their heart to inform their mind , have no wisdom or intuition– THAT, comes only from a heart that is not lost on the love of money. IQ without the wisdom in a heart has given us the MESS we have today.

  5. Note that the ploted uncertainty intervals are just 1 sigma (1 standard deviation), and we use 3 sigmas in many other places of physics.

Also the 3-sigma interval may not be 3 times the 1-sigma one if the distribution of model results is not gaussian. And seeing how the temperature changes look like a stochastic process, I bet that distributions of model results could have a distribution with a thick tail.

  6. I have a question. I took a year long course at S.A.I.T. in concrete. They gave me a fact I am having trouble conferming.
A thimble full of concrete has more surface area than the earth.
    So.. true? Not? Proof?.. lol..

  7. thank you for saying the one thing I've privately felt for awhile: "they don't mention it." Climate scientists keep accusing doubters of "conspiracy theories." Conspiracy theories imply that scientist a and scientist b have to get together and mislead the public in some way. That skeptics can't prove their conspiracies is interpreted by scientists and pushed on the public as scientists are being forthcoming and honest. You don't need to enter into a conspiracy to mislead someone. All you have to do is quietly ignore whatever it is you want to in favor of pieces of information that make your case and I've seen multiple examples where I think climate scientists do just that: not mentioning that 200 years of warming is short compared to 2 billion years of climate history, that all of their proxies are being taken at the 11th hour of earth's climate history, and so on. They just don't bring it up, so they can't be accused of doing something dishonest….

  8. @sabinehossenfelder the greatest "suspections" in all this is that "they" don't even have a guess on the right role clouds have in the balance, and they use "1850" as "pre-industrial" as baseline and 1850 was right after the end of the little ice age… if you search for paleostudies on "global" (whatever this means) "mean" temperatures you'll see current temperature is less than when dinosaurs lived on earth, and pretty similar to pleistocene (plenthora of plants and life). "Colder" climate leads only to severe droughts and famine (the global problem of waters' usage and famine / agriculture is another beast – THIS really needs major attention but has nothing to do with "climate" fakery beast, much easier to blame climate than force ppl to deal better with waters)

  9. "Best climate models" . All biased & manipulated by researchers looking for more money, money that comes from those pushing climate slavery. Look at who is driving this & why they are. As for oil, it's not a fossil fuel

  10. The real HORROR in this graph (2:24) is that the actual data matches the average of predictions, even though the predictions vary wildly among themselves. We don't know which one, if any, of the predictions are correct but we do know almost all of them are incorrect. So, the graph means that average of mostly incorrect and conflicting predictions somehow turns out to be a correct prediction. NO. Cannot happen. My conclusion: data manipulation.

  11. In short, the +/- errors (or variables) in the data set is larger than the predicted change in the data set. They know this, so present the data in such a way as to "mask" the the actual results.
This is how the "agenda" is pushed. Present statistics that the average person doesn't (or won't) understand – even though the data are [basically] false – and keep presenting it as the "facts", over and over, and over. Eventually this becomes the accepted narrative.

  12. Weather forecasters can’t get right what it’s going to be doing in a month’s time, but want us to believe that they know what’s going to happening in 50 years’ time. The modellers aren’t helped that none of their doomsday predictions for the last 30-40 years have actually happened. It’s all just a mathematical model, and as anyone who’s spent any time working with actuaries, then tend to turn out to be massively pessimistic.

  13. I had climate related issues. I’ve had heat related ptsd (anxiety, insane pregnancy related dehydration) in 2023 summer. Yeah then I remembered a classroom lesson from my childhood. For some reason I noticed it and then I recalled uncomfortable hot summers in my childhood.

  14. Thanks Chief Complainer. It is also noteworthy that we are told to reduce CO2, yet also told elevated CO2 is the 'silver bullet' delaying the end of this interglacial. Both cannot be true. Also note, NASA Solar Cycle 25 predictions were proven to be 100% inaccurate and had to be corrected. 3rd most benign became 3rd most severe. Were climate models turned on their heads? Who knows. I think "Winter is coming".

  15. Direct relation to the extraction of earths natural lubricant. Take oil away from a machine, what happens… oil from earth, soil becomes brittle as it heats up, earthquakes become more likely imminent, burn that oil as gas, more heat occurs, heat is trapped within magnetic field… thanks for bringing this up
