Councillors and residents are fighting plans to build the UK’s largest solar farm after it was given the green light by the new government.
Developer Sunnica’s 2,500-hectare solar farm on the Suffolk and Cambridgeshire border could power 172,000 homes and help meet the government’s net zero emissions target.
The previous government repeatedly delayed its decision on the proposal, facing opposition from the council, councillors and the planning watchdog.
Kevin O’Sullivan is joined by political commentator James Melville, who argues Mr Miliband “has no understanding of the real world”.

The science clearly illustrates that Chinese CO2 has virtually no effect on climate, as its warming effect is logarithmic (law of diminishing returns). Of course here in merrie olde England CO2 follows the rules of the Climate Religion and the solar panels on house roofs will warm houses especially well in winter with all that lovely winter sunshine. Global warming is the biggest con ever foisted on the world and this net zero crap is the reason we are paying 3 times what we should be paying and we are paying for electricity we are not actually using ie because when the power companies turn off these useless windmills they still get paid
Is this comedy? We are losing food security because of climate change caused by burning oil & coal. This is the biggest risk to our food supply. Currently our food output is 50% down.
So what's the answer guys?
We are facing a revolution in food production. We can now brew milk like beer, 100x cheaper than dairy farming. We won't be short of spare farmland. Any green energy is considerably cheaper than gas or nuclear. These initiatives will make our bills much cheaper, make food cheaper make us all better off.
Your problem is you nothing of the causes or the solutions. Pure ignorance.

What’s going to happen when the sun doesn’t shine and the wind doesn’t blow as often happens here in the UK?
We will still need the gas powered generating stations to be fired up to prevent the country shutting down. That means those stations will be on permanent standby and fully operational in case of that event. It’s going to cost billions to keep those stations in readiness.
The problem once again is that we have people heading up government departments who don’t have the foggiest idea of what they’re doing.
They’ve no experience or expertise in those departments.
Captains of industry know how those businesses work and the technical aspects involved with that enterprise.

Not only is CO2 important but it's essential for plants to produce chlorophyll through the photosinthesis process. If there's no CO2, there are no plants, no animals and no humans. As simple as that. You know, the one that had to fire up all 4 of its generators in January to cover a shortfall in supply, in what was a relatively mild winter. Should the same shortfall occur this winter, it won't be operational to bring online. How will they cover any shortfalls this winter?

The Earth's Troposhere and it's immense atmosphere are controlled by the Sun , with other factors in play, such as the Earth's tilt , Milanchovic Cycles, the Coriolis Effect vectors at the poles and equator, meaning that the greenhouse effect is significant at the Equator, but 30 degrees beyond the equator, hydrodynamics comes into play.
Yes, a complex business with many unanswered questions. There is not one single control knob for atmospheric temperature.
The fact is, that the entire policy, propaganda apparatus of this net zero drive is all based on brain-washing entire populations about carbon dioxide. Mass populations tend to be scientifically illiterate; we now have a dangerous political group who are not only completely scientifically illiterate, they have no interest in it, behaving in a delusional manner right across UK and Europe.
So, I would reiterate my central point, which is that we urgently need a leader to actually stand up in the House of Commons, in media interviews and go right to the heart – start any discussion of net zero by stating exactly what Carbon Dioxide is and what it is not- lift the fog of delusion and lies imposed by politics and media – Carbon Dioxide, the gas of life.
