  1. It's nothing to do with net zero It's just yet another way of taxing the public to pay for the rest of the world, or so it seems. Get the boats stopped, get the roads fixed get the bins emptied.

  2. So we bann the drilling for our own oil and import it from other mega polluting countries? Where is our wisdom coming from, this policy is going to break GB and is grossly unfair on the poor

  3. Uncontrolled immigration and the lights going out. Its going to be a long decade of Labour ideological government. But the Liberal left who think socialism is the best thing since sliced bread will keep voting for more of the same punishment. Whats the definition of madness. Repeating the same action over and over again and expecting a different outcome.

  4. Once again we find a politician being responsible for government department who doesn’t have the foggiest bloody idea of what they are doing or saying.
This country contributes less than 1% of greenhouse gas emissions and yet we seem willing to bankrupt half the country to pay for the energy required to run our homes and businesses.
Labour has zero business acumen in its ranks.

  5. I don't know what's going on with politicians these days
but I've never known so many thick people wandering around in westminster trying to goven this once great country
Get these planks out they do not understand the real world

  6. In 1945/46 my mother, along with her fellow soldiers was bussed to Harwell near her camp. They were given a lecture on how marvelous atomic was and here we are almost eighty years later not much to show for it.

  7. Ed Miliband is 😡 mad oil and gas will be needed to run machinery and vehicles for a long time put solar panels on warehouses not on farm land just think of all the jobs that will be lost in Scotland gas and oil imports will be more expensive

  8. Yes micro plastics are more of a threat than global warming at the moment. To get rid of the piles of old turbine blades they have started shredding them and burning them as fuel in coal, wood and rubber fired power stations fact. This has a worse impact on the environment than coal. But they keep insisting wind power is good for the environment .

  9. Pursuit of "renewables" is controlled by ideologues rather than by engineers, but also by those who have heavy investments in renewables (that's why they don't want nuclear).

  10. Re your singing I’d normally say “stick to your day job” but not this time I’d say go for it you have a marvellous untapped talent there you should give up whatever you are doing and go for it full time we are all behind you and good luck.

  11. Ed Miliband has never been very bright and is quite possibly the most dumbest of dumb idiots for not being able to see the bleeding obvious that he is being used as the fall guy. Mark my words, net zero is unachievable without destroying industry and jobs by dramatically burdening industry and the public with huge unnecessary costs on a grand scale and anyone in authority with half a brain cell knows this. So the story will go that when the UK Government has to cave in to common sense it will all be blamed on the one idiot rabbit who is left staring into the car headlights. Ed Miliband.

  12. It is not irrational or alarmist to warn of power outages if we pursue the insanity of nut-zero. It is not for nothing that my local power network company has taken it upon itself to deliver a leaflet to all homes called "Preparing for power cuts". So there you have it, the network itself is telling you it is going to happen.
