And this is happening already in a growing pace.

We have drained the aquifers, and now mega tonage cities on top of unsuported ground is the result. Now rain and floods are making this unsupported crust soft and weak.
One day a very large city will just sink into the mantle, as it can no longer hold the weight, without the groundwater supporting the crust from below.
Today, this can happen over and over again with the damage we have already caused. We are in big trouble if the flooding continues.
Its not a race to find out , its inevitable now we will get a 67 m ish rise over the next Millenia . Florida needs drain upgrades
Thank you Sylvia Earle and Earth Stories. Here In Florida unfortunately we are at risk for sea level rise. In the FL Keys July 2023 we had a heat event that killed 97% of corals from bleaching. Ron Disantis our governor is a denier of climate change and took the word out of legislation. Education and protection is key, and the ecological principle "tragedy of commons" explains our oceans which are at risk. Facts are humans are creating the 6th extinction of our planet Earth.

climate will change certainly. This is God's blessing. However, the speed of changing is caused by earth's inhabitants themselves. Most of them just don't care on the climate change. Even people are destructing the natures.
Too much illegal removal of sand for the construction booms insatiable appetite for concrete. In southeast Asia they are illegally removing tons and tons of sea sand from sites hidden out in Indonesia's islands. Check out the slice documentary called Sand Wars and this episode will make much more sense! They have poor people from the Maldives selling their sand and then the Islands erode their surface sand.
