well said you are spot on and we are the scape goats and paying through the nose , its so wrong what we are having forced on us , as you say what about all the Carbon we are locking in our grass land and such , and don't get me started on Methane rubbish it all make me so angry , when the food starts running out will they listen then ! Thank you for this it need talking about
Was with you until you said "the great Elon musk"
60 million buffaloes were replaced with 60 cows in America.methane no difference.stop blaming us
Million cows
Briliant video, đ
Correct. Population is growing, while food production is declining. In England more land is diverted into environmental schemes, Netherlands farms are restricted or paid to stop. etc
If one takes a look at government policy over the last century, and the current direction of travel. Our country is more dependant on the rest of the world to survive.
Thanks for all your time and effort making this intelligent content
Good one Andrew. We all know net zero is an absolute myth. Big tech and corporate greed can never be satisfied by greening or slowing down the economy. lt's far easier to blame agriculture and other so called "dirty" industries for all climate and environmental problems…sorry, i'm on a rant nowđ¤Ŗđ
Well said Andrew.Lots of airports even building new runways ! Nothing to stop a person flying 365 days a year and the pollution that it causes.
Full transparency, I grew up on a dairy farm in NI and i now work in the technology industry, developing solutions for the healthcare, biotech and pharma world using cloud, robotics and AI.
My younger bro, who is still in the dairy farming world, frequently sends me your youtube vid's and champions your viewpoints. Many of your points are valid and you are good at presenting them, but I usually spend some time debunking some of your facts. It's very easy to become an 'echo chamber' when discussing these topics and supporting your own beliefs without taking a critical look from another perspective.
I guess somewhere down the road, maybe 10 or 20 years we'll all blame each other for our lack of action and consequences we are suffering at that point!
There is much change ahead. Energy will become more abundant through solar and batteries, These are already displacing coal and oil-fired power stations and in turn will reduce emissions. China is a leader here.
Net zero is not your enemy ahead…new farming methods are your threat. They do not involve animals. The new farming is farming cells using precision fermentation. The word alternative protein will start to appear.
eg Remilk, an Israeli startup founded by the grandson of a dairy farmer

Currently, these companies don't have the scale, but they are working hard on it. and they improve at rapid speed

Tony Seba tells us that disruptive change occurs when the price of the the new technology is 10 times less than the incumbent technology. The above mix of technologies will achieve that at some point
Don't roast the messenger…just giving you a view from the other side!
Good luck!
Andrew is this the sustainability thing that you told me was a fait accompli …or can we still fight the battle đŽ
Spot on đ
Very very well said , farming is being targeted to distract from all the rest of the cr*p that is going on
Watch "Climate the movie,,,,the cold truth" it's very educational…….
Good stuff
The NFU are needing to grow a pair and start fighting for farmers instead holding hands with the government
Great video, and common sense.
You really need to share this to a politician you trust in a way it will ripple to the top i think anyway or try get on the joe rogan podcast đ
Yet the elites in society have private jets multiple gas guzzling cars multiple mansions of houses, the governments flys to needless meeting all around the world with their entourage , when they stop doing this then I will start listening to them
AHH this is a topic that winds me up. I do care about the environment but flip me goverments are using this as a "dead cat" story
You are 100% correct in saying that Agriculture is disproportionately penalised by Governments. I would share your video but you repeatedly use quotation marks when you refer to the climate "crisis." Surely your own experience of dealing with increased unpredictability of the weather tells you we are on the brink of a crisis?
Google data centers can use the equivalent electricity to hundreds of houses and also 100s thousands of litres of water for cooling purposes , EVERY DAY.
Well done Andrew absolute gold on this one.
Great video Andrew, support for the cause đđđ.
Very true. Unfortunately the organisations that are supposed to support farmers and the industry have no bloody backbone. It's that simple. 80% of people think food comes from supermarkets. The general public have no idea that without farmers they starve.

Wouldn't it be relevant to know how much carbon sequestration there is from an acte of meadow as opposed to three leaf grass. Yes there's a few farmers putting animals into meadow grazing, DELIBERATELY because food is best eaten ripe in seasonđ.plus the attendant greater volume of roots aerating and drainithe soil habitat better plus alleviating and preventing compaction. Govs are ruled by big biz.
Your most important video yet by a mile. Although farmers are being targeted with this agenda it actually applies to every individual you are talking to. We all need to mobilize on this issue together and take a leaf from our mainland Euro neighbors. This issue is not one we can ignore and think its going to go away. Its excellent to see someone bringing this issue to the fore and broadcasting it in such a fact based approach. The rules for corporates don't apply unless tit suits them. Thank you Andrew and keep up the excellent work. đđ
