What are Climate Projections?
Climate projections are modelled representations of the potential future climate over the next several decades, using climate scenarios developed by the IPCC.
Projections are not predictions or forecast. They show a range of possibilities, based on the best available science and data, to give us an indication of what we might expect in the future.
Climate change projections consider different scenarios, such as varying levels of greenhouse gas emissions. They help scientists, policymakers, and communities understand potential future climate conditions and plan accordingly to mitigate or adapt to the expected changes.
Updated climate projections for Aotearoa New Zealand, produced by NIWA in 2024, will support our transition to a low-emissions, climate-resilient economy.

I get the feeling that a lot of future Kiwis will be angry that we scrapped key infrastructure projects today A lot of rural New Zealand will be too expensive to live in.
I am not a scientist, however I have been doing a lot of research into this climate change story with a lot of interesting results. 2:25 the subject of rain is a hot topic as we should all know that we have a reliable source of water.
In the event that my mother gave birth to me on the twentieth day of February 1954, in the back seat of a Chevrolet motor car on the way to the Tauranga hospital, the neighbours young seventeen year old son just may as well have saved my life. And you know something, the bird song was in every garden and bushland, the rainfall was consistent and the country was rich in nature and natural flora and fauna.
This changed dramatically over the next few decades and before we knew it, the climate had changed drastically and has been deteriorating ever since.
Now I am going to draw your, and the attention of other viewers, to a small publication that was around in the 50s and 60s.

The article goes on to say how these two prominent scientists spent several years chasing cumulus clouds to probe their secrets, and give a lengthy explanation on the procedure's that they presented.
Id be writing a book if i was to word for word every thing that is in the article, but I have sourced several items that has given me good reason to see this as climate manipulation and that there is reference to this activity on research of the rain clouds as far back as 1879, where experiment's had been conducted.
It might be a conspiracy theory or there may be good reason to see that yes government organisations have been involved with weather manipulation and the search engine Google of Barium Strontium and Aluminium oxide as forms of delivery into the atmosphere are in operation and that what these two prominent scientists were working on, had come to fruition.

One metre in the next 76 years is ten times faster the last 30 years rate, with a 30 year lag on emissions and heating the next 60 years is going to demolish a lot of coasts, with 140 countries with a coastline, going to be a very different world, especially with oil running out during this time.
'Could be', 'May be', 'Are expected'… I've been hearing this rhetoric since the '70's when climate scientists were predicting an imminent ice age. As to the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere, don't go there. It doesn't cause warming, it follows it as a result of the oceans releasing it as they warm. When the dinosaurs roamed earth, it was slightly warmer and there was CO2 concentrations orders of magnitude larger than today. If I was a conspiracy theorist I'd say today's media wants to instill fear in people for just being themselves. It's OK, I know our media, like our government, has our best interests at heart.

Large parts of New Zealand have been underwater numerous times in the past.
it would be nice to see some acknowledgement of the magnetic pole shift, coupled with a weakening magnetosphere – the real cause of the changes – quite seperate from c02 emissions

From the people who can't predict the weather more than a week out, and even 24 hrs on occasion, we get climate predictions decades ahead!
Sea level has been rising steadily since the end of the Little Ice Age, circa 1850, at 200mm per century.
Since when does higher rainfall and high temperature coincide? Does it rain a lot in the deserts of Australia or Arabia or perhaps North Africa, Arizona or New Mexico perhaps? We get more rain in the winter than in the summer, more rain in Fiordland than Northland, more rain in the mountains than coastal plains, all cooler, wetter. All precisely because hot air holds more moisture than cold air, and it's going to keep holding on to it!
There have been huge climate shifts in the past; Bronze age cooling, Roman Warming, Medieval Warming, Little Ice Age which was the coldest time since the end of the last ice age. How can you state this present cycle is not a natural variation?
Finally there is Le Chatelier's Principal which states: "A change in one of the variables that describe a system at equilibrium produces a shift in the position of the equilibrium that counteracts the effect of this change." Simply put, the atmosphere will self correct for the change in CO2.
It seems to be a grand weather report with [computer] predictions well into the future. Way off the mark compared with observations made by numerous renowned [Int'l] climate scientists.
We all know what's causing CLIMATE change.
Climate has always changed on this planet. Itâs a natural cycle driven largely by the Sun. Studies like Niwaâs inform infrastructure planning and decision making. Our country needs a unified strategy to adapt to these climatic changes. In the meantime, we need to ensure our energy security needs can be met as we transition from our current state to whatever the future state will be. Politicians and Citizens need to subordinate self interest for the greater good and commit to a new strategy/approach. That would take a level of governance maturity unlike any experienced in this country. There is no emergency but we ought not waste time either. We need to be pragmatic and focus on the outcomes we seek for future generations. In the meantime, check your gutters and roadside drains and clean them up if you can. Donât rely on others to do it. There were three climate changes last century, sunspot density will predict the climate and look at sunspot history and climate. Co2 is essential to life not climate.
