  1. Good video Bernie!

But you are wrong on one of your points: China is not waiting for the US. They are surging ahead of the entire world. China set an all time record on renewable energy production not that long ago and is on track to produce most of their electricity from renewables well before their target date.

  2. IPCC AR6 says about the time of emergence for various extreme events. Here are some direct quotes related to specific phenomena:
    * There is low confidence in the emergence of heavy precipitation and pluvial and river flood frequency in observations, despite trends that have been found in a few regions
    * There is low confidence in the emergence of drought frequency in observations, for any type of drought, in all regions.

  3. Climate change is real. My family business was outdoor entertainment and I've seen the weather change dramatically in the last 20 years since the Chinese started pumping up plastic toys for adults that want to act like children.

  4. Climate change is happening and to think people can change the weather is absurd, we should be preparing for the worst and hope for the best trying to stop climate change is like trying to stop time, wake up, get ready for the coming changes

  5. Presidential Reagan's administration started getting the scientists deeply involved in climate change but sadly george w bush and dick cheney proved money matters lives do not!!! They ignored science facts and used corporate lawyers to lie to the world. Climate change facts presented in the 1980s are all coming true now!!! Wish bush and cheney would admit they were so very wrong and give every penny they have to save OUR planet!!!

  6. Rather that hear the message, they vilify Greta Thunberg and then bitch about the heat and wonder why their barn is floating away. I don’t believe humans are smart enough to recognize and fix this problem so catastrophe is inevitable. It is sad for those that see the problem for what it is but are helpless to change anything. Thanks for trying Bernie and Greta.

  7. Our planet has CYCLES and we are near a major cycle change where we get a mini ice age from the heated volcanoes under the glaciers which melt them, we freeze…we need to act like our planet has NO BORDERS to relocate for survival….

  8. There’s plenty of scientists that disagree with the scientific consensus on climate change. But they all receive funding from fossil fuel companies. I’ve researched for years.

  9. –>> insane (adj.)

1550s, of persons, "mentally damaged," from Latin insanus "mad, insane, of unsound mind; outrageous, excessive, extravagant," from in- "not" (see in- (1)) + sanus "well, healthy, sane" (see sane). In reference to actions, "irrational, evidencing madness," from 1842 in English. The noun meaning "insane person" is attested from 1786. For the notion of insanity as sickness, compare lunatic; and Italian pazzo "insane," originally a euphemism, from Latin patiens "suffering." German verrückt, literally past participle of verrücken "to displace," "applied to the brain as to a clock that is 'out of order' " [Buck].

–>> Alvin Goldstein (January 10, 1936 – December 19, 2013) was an American pornographer. He is known for helping normalize hardcore pornography in the United States ..

->> The following countries have the highest estimated World War II casualties: the Soviet Union (20 to 27 million), China (15 to 20 million), Germany (6 to 7.4 million), Poland (5.9 to 6 million), Dutch East Indies/Indonesia (3 to 4 million), Japan (2.5 to 3.1 million), India (2.2 to 3 million), Yugoslavia (1 to 1.7 million), French Indochina (Laos, Cambodia, part of Vietnam) (1 to 2.2 million), and France (600,000)….

    > The United States is home to the largest number of prisoners worldwide. Roughly 1.8 million people were incarcerated in the U.S. at the end of 2023. In China, the estimated prison population totaled to 1.69 million people that year. Other nations had far fewer prisoners. Jan 8, 2024

    > Mental illnesses are common in the United States, affecting more than one in five adults… In 2021, 57.8 million adults in the United States lived with a mental illness. The most common mental illnesses include: Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar disorder, Schizophrenia, Dementia…

    > 65% of the people in the United States… have one form or another of a chronic degenerative disease… 45% have two or more of those debilitating diseases…. we have children under the age of 2 developing diabetes…. kids under the age of 12 with fatty liver disease….

    > Suicide is the tenth leading cause of death in the United States.. On average, there are 129 suicides per day. Suicide is the third leading cause of death for Americans aged 15 to 24…

    > The United States has one of the largest homeless populations in the world,.. with over half a million people experiencing homelessness each night… However, the true number of homeless people in the United States could be 2.5 to 10.2 times greater…

    > Top 10 U.S. Literacy Rate Statistics… 21% of adults in the US are illiterate in 2022… 54% of adults have a literacy below sixth-grade level… 21% of Americans 18 and older are illiterate in 2022. Low literacy rates end up costing Americans up to $2.2 trillion every year…

    > The U.S. has the lowest life expectancy at birth, the highest death rates for avoidable or treatable conditions, the highest maternal and infant mortality, and among the highest suicide rates… The U.S. has the highest rate of people with multiple chronic conditions and an obesity rate nearly twice the OECD average. 10. Thanks Bernie. Americans are absolutely clueless when it comes to understanding what their government is doing in their name. With very few exceptions, most of the people in our government, who act as if they are representing the American people in Congress, are certainly NOT! They are nearly all owned by AIPAC and corporate lobbies and so is SCOTUS.

The citizens of this country have totally lost control of their government and the people's needs and wishes are no longer considered in the actions of a bought-and-paid-for congress.

I'm sorry, and it saddens me to say this, but over the centuries long road to 2024, the ideals that this nation should reflect, and America herself, has been lost to the self-worshipping notion of "American Exceptionalism", militarism and empire, and the only things truly exceptional about us now, are our sky-high levels of ignorance and apathy.

I think that the cause of this can be traced directly to a western, corporate, profit-driven media, joined at the hip to the MIC, the Military-Industrial-Complex, that former President Eisenhower warned us about in his farewell address, that fails to do its job of informing the people, and instead engages in manufacturing consent of the governed masses to benefit the very few.

I renamed the MIC to the MIMIC, the Military-Industrial-Media-Infotainment-Complex, many years ago, because to me, it better reflects what the MIC has become, a mimic of a democracy!

  11. Neither Biden nor Harris nor Trump will stop the Israeli genocide of the Palestinians!

Vote FOR what you WANT, not AGAINST what you FEAR! Lesser Evil is still EVIL!

Vote for Jill Stein/Butch Ware in 2024! – Harris has NOT earned my vote!

Just imagine if Jill or Bernie Sanders had been president for the last 8 years – JUST IMAGINE!

  12. WAKE THE FFFK UP ITS A FFFKKING 50 YEAR. FFFKKING. = FFFKING CYCLE
THE FFFKING TECTONIC PLATES FFFKING CRACKED FFFKING OPEN
AND CAUSED FFFKING MAJOR FFFKING VOLCANIC-EARTHQUAKES
FFFFKING CAUSING FFFKING MAJOR FFFKING VOLCANIC-SMOG FFFKING ERUPTIONS FFFKING DAILY
    EVERY FFFFFFFKKKKKING 50 FFFFFFFFKKKING YEARS

  13. Then how do we trust Kamala who wants to promote big agriculture and clear cutting by the few forests we have left by building 3 million new homes out of cheap non efficient housing materials?

  14. Words are great, but empty, actions speak louder. He endorsed both Biden and Harris who will never ban fracking and keep offering millions of acres land for drilling. That makes him part of the anti-climate force. Again, Bernie and AOC turn out to be the most damaging force for the progressive movements.

  15. The question is not if it’s real or not, the question is how to live modern life without fossil fuels. As long as you see plenty of people driving around in gigantic trucks, taking vacation trips in planes, the US military burning tons of fuel all over the world, you can talk all you want until you are blue in the face that it’s real.

  16. Of course climate change is real. Like any dynamic system change is continuous and normal. The climate has been slowly warming on net, with frequent ups and downs, for thousands of years. The good part is that the ice sheets that used to cover the continents are mostly gone.

The thing that NOT all scientists agree on is what part, if any, human activity has played a part.

  17. It drives me bonkers that climate change isn’t top of voters minds. GenZ listens to the scientists and are concerned about their future… Democrats should be traveling to every campus and showing them there is only one political party who actually wants to solve this issue, and that in 30yrs it will impact the global economy much more than a domestic “conservative” economic policy.
    Thank you Bernie.

  19. Climate Change is a hoax and Bernie is the biggest liar ever for promoting it. The more CO2 carbon emissions there are, the more plants, trees, and vegetation are able to breathe in and absorb carbon dioxide and the more greener our planet becomes. It's that simple

  20. The sabotage of the Nord Stream pipeline was the single biggest man made carbon event in human history. But you are all quiet? Where is the concern? Where is the outrage? But you want us to support the very political party that deliberately destroyed that pipeline? You want more proxy wars. You push WW3. Wars are the highest polluter and destroy the environment and living beings. 😡

  21. Bernie will always be one of my top Heroes. Climate collapse is entering the final phases. Follow C3S (Copernicus Climate Change Service–EU) to see the worldwide temperature data. We continue on the 18mo. steady trajectory of 0.20 ave. annual global temp increase, so 2 degC by 2027, 3 degC by 2032, 4 degC by 2037, and 6 degC by 2047, when any child unfortunate enough to have been born today turns 23 yo. Feel me? Still don't care about your "carbon footprint"?

  22. Seeing and hearing Bernie again today bring tears to my eyes and makes my 79yo heart ache. He stands heads above us all and is what Tramp could have been, if he weren't such a mentally ill monster.

  23. No, carbon emissions are not the primary cause of climate change. Carbon emissions are a symptom of the problem the problem is unchecked human population growth. Look at the overlay of pululation and carbon emissions and you will see it's a perfect correlation. I can't post that image here. On this, Mr. Sanders, you are wrong about the cause vs. the effect.

  24. Climate Change is indeed very real, and it has existed for thousands of years before 1st world countries began to use fossil fuels. It is not caused by human activities. In fact, the current Co2 levels in our atmospheric make up is 0.04% which is up from 0.03% respectively. To render a proper comparison, Venus has a Co2 make up of 96.5% which is why it is more than 800 degrees F there. The scary part is that these alleged scientists have published zero scientific evidence to support the claims of these politicians who conveniently own stock and equity in alleged "GREEN ENERGY" companies. What's more, is that if our Co2 levels drop below 0.03% then the plant life on Earth begins to die. Without plant life we have no food or oxygen.

  25. Joe Biden passed the biggest climate change bill in history throughout the world. And I’m ashamed to say also millions voted for him. Because as everyone knows he had a lot more work to do. 0:49

  26. And you're supporting the candidate who thinks we need more fracking? Frack that! I'm continuing your revolution by supporting and voting for the only candidate that is continuing your movement and that's Dr. Jill Stein. Kamala Harris couldn't even be bothered with safeguarding reproductive rights by publishing the ERA! You should have abandoned the Democrats after they cheated you like so many of us who supported you did. Now, you're backing a "lesser-evil" candidate that is engaged in a genocide and thinks fracking is a good idea. How low we've come on this slow ride to the bottom by constantly voting for the lesser-evil. We deserved better and you let us all down.
