  1. A despot leading a far left Government that is following a foreign global organisations agenda instead of looking after British interests. They lied to get our vote therefore the election should be null and void. Davos or UK = TRAITOR!

  2. If a salesman told me I couldn't buy the car of MY choice I would walk away and shop elsewhere, or just keep the car I have. I have never been desperate to get myself into £25000 to £35000 worth of debt just get from A to B and be taxed to the hilt to do it

  3. Do you realize this rationing of cars was happening in former communist countries like Czechoslovakia? What kind of people you pathetic people voting for? You brought full-on communism on yourselves.

  4. Lets get one thing straight CO2 is not a pollutant and we are doing it a disservice by making it out to be so! the current level of CO2 is at 430 ppm which is far lower than the millennial average of 2500+ ppm. Also we can quite happily live in an atmosphere with a CO2 level as high as 7000+ ppm when in an in-closed building such as a pop concert or conference. The amount of growth in trees and other plants has been on the increase with the rise in the ambient CO2 level, with the world "Greening" by over 20% in this century!

  5. Trouble is carbon dioxide is actually a non toxic gas that is highly beneficial to life on Earth. Climate change is normal and natural. The reason carbon dioxide is used as a political tool is that it is the common denominator to all human activities. Net Zero may appear to be a noble cause but it is based on a lie. Real problems are plastic waste, industrial and agricultural runoff, deforestation and desertification. Russia invading Ukraine does not help. 🙂🍃

  6. They can mandate a level of sales all they want to – but if people won't buy them then the dealers are in a bit of trouble. If ev's are so good there would be no need for 'incentives'. As the 2035 deadline gets nearer there are going to be more and more 2nd hand cars on the road. No one will buy an ev until they are forced to. It is about time the government woke up to the fact that ev's are not this panacea they think they are.

  7. If people bought a 2nd hand petrol/diesel car instead of an ev it would kill this stone dead. The government would then be forced to ban the sale of 2nd hand petrol/diesel cars as well. The price of 2nd hand vehicles will rise as the demand grows. 20 or 30 years time – I won't be here – so in the give a s**t meter – I'm struggling to reach zero.

  8. What the manufactures will do is spread the cost of the fine across ICE cars, to make them as expensive as EVs, which is exactly the same way they’ve increased the price of gas to subsidise electricity costs and make electric only use seem cheaper, it’s all a lie, 2030 wants you in 15 minute zones, no freedom of movement for the proles in the centrally planned WEF/UN communist West 🤔

  9. If anything tells us that politicians are amongst the stupidest people in the country, the "Zero Emissions Vehicle Mandate" is it. If they'd even done a superficial calculation, they would have realised that it's not a sensible decision, economically. Also, terraced houses and blocks of flats are not suited for at home charging. The pricing of new EVs is not something that poorer people can manage and second hand EVs are not a sensible decision, a new battery can cost more than the car. The fact is, that the EV fires are far more destructive. Even a small bump is causing EVs to be written off. The insurance companies have realised this and are charging accordingly. Another issue is the availability of the minerals required. The Chinese have cornered the market in many of the mines and there is a calculated deficit in, for instance, copper of 60% of the mines required to provide the amount of copper.

  10. Not just the UK struggling to sell these things. America (except the state of Commifornia), Europe, Australia, Korea and even China are now struggling to move them from their forecourts. These only appeal to a small minority of (mostly wealthy)people who either want them because of the freebies like no tax or incentives, if they are a fanboy to a certain brand or just a net zero fanatic.

  11. My commute is 170 miles daily, i have to drive because the trains dont run when i need them, and if they did, the not so fair price is close to £80 a day. So i pulled into morrisons to fill my car up but i saw three cars in front of me. I was on my way home, and just wanted to be in and out. Then i got to thinking, it would take me possibly up to 15 minutes to get to the pump and fill up, which a full tank would give me close to 700 miles. If i was driving an electric car with three cars in front of me, i would probably queing up for hours and hours, and even then, if i got a full charge, i would be looking at waiting in another que for hours for just another few hundred miles. Still, i suppose it give you a chance to get depresed over the jingleing sound of cash as it massivley disapears in huge depreciation while you sit waiting for hours just to get a couple of hundred miles.
On top of this, road tax from next year will be another cost, and the insurance is way more than my ICE car. With the initial cost of the car being well over double that of a ordinary car, i really do struggle to see this as progress, more of economic suicide….

  12. What is actually happening is the same as what sheep farmers do. We are all going to eventually be penned up in C40 cities and become simply free range humans …or rather as evidenced in some documentation “Objects”
