When I get my food truck, it will have A/C. Ridiculous not to have it. I would believe the scientists if they hadn't adjusted past temperatures, then destroyed the old data. Not to mention mothballing higher elevation and higher latitude weather stations. Then with encroachment of development to weather stations. We have one here that is next to a school's blacktop playground and next to the street. The other one is next to the runway at the airport.

Unless exhaust gases just “pass through” our atmosphere, we’re eventually going to overheat and suffocate and hopefully not spontaneously combust.
Everywhere I go I see cars and hear leaf blowers.
I don’t think anyone takes real consideration for just how many people are all driving and using gas at any given time on the planet.
People have passed away from carbon monoxide poisoning sleeping in their cars and the garages. Think of that times 1 billion cars or more at any given time.
This doesn’t even touch base on all the factories, gas engines, etc. and even the resources used to make all this plastic crap we wrap everything in just to throw away.
On the flip side, we have developed our entire way of life using this destructive resource. How else will society make a living?
heat is the symptom. The cause is Greed and extreme Capitalism and neoliberal pursuit for growth and profits. Pumping co2 in the air is the cause and America is the biggest offender on the planet. Why didn't you tell people the cause. Its climate change and spewing carbon into the air.
Where was CBS with Exxon scientists reporting the sad truth with the buried reports from the 1970's? Now you pay for a climate change correspondent, how trendy, how late to the scene, how corporate cash chokes your objectivity in the news I see you producing. CBS is a problem not a solution, no help from the greedy oligarchs that own you.
2024 is on track to be the hottest year in human records of about 100 years.
To those who don't believe what is coming, just wait. Watching Nature and knowing what is coming. And it ain't good.
We have been seeing tropical birds here in the Colorado Rockies for the last 10 years. Native birds are trying to adjust, but aren't doing very well. Wildlife are trying to adapt but their habitat are suffering, leaving them in desperate situations. DON'T leave your pets in your car, it's different now, and can cause long term problems and death in a very short time. I'm in my late 60's and I see and feel the difference. If you don't believe it you are ignoring the obvious.
We're all under the delusion that climate change is the greatest existential threat to humanity when mass shootings are the real biggest threat we face, big enough to make climate change look like a complete joke.
"What can we do to protect ourselves?" Stop emitting warming greenhouse gases!!!
It is insanity to keep on adding more fossil fuel emissions to the air. We are heading toward 3-5C warming that is well above DANGEROUS heating. There are no other way to limit rapidly rising warming.
Stop your car. Change your electricity to renewables. Change your heating to renewables. Vote for those who are fighting against polluters. Limit your meat consumption to healthy diet limits (70 grams per day).
Write to your electees and push them to do laws and regulations that limits the harm.
Stop any burning. Specially: Stop burning any fossil fuels.
It is very likely that 2024 will be over 1.5C Paris threshold. It is not likely that remaining months would be under 1.3C limit that is needed to dip below.
So we are past 1.5C by this year and rapidly racing toward 2.0C.
Stop burning ANY fossil fuels. Today.
I see many comments about climate change. Are you personally doing anything about it?
People just need to drink more water, and take breaks in the shade.
Life can adapt.
Less concrete less pavement more green spaces more native plants and trees grow native edible plants and fruits.
Off ramps of freeways or hyways full of dirt or rock replace it with native green and maybe water every 3 to 4 months early morning 5 minutes on 10 minutes of do that 3 times and tada no runoff and minimum amounts of water used.
Require all apartments with 100 units or more replace there ac in the next 5 years with high efficiency ac and maybe replace the old electric stove a replacement with idk induction replace the fridge with a low power high efficiency fridge.
Require new insulation laws let’s say 2x more then it is now maybe even 3x better insulation standards r13 min make it r26 or r39 why to reduce the heat coming in the home your a skyscraper with a min of r60 make it r120 or r150.
Reduce the amount of plastic being made and replace it with true recycle material like aluminum or glass bottle gourd with be wax inside to make it water proof.

We can thank Frank Luntz, an opinion researcher for decades for the Republicans. Climate change removes the level of concern about it. He also got legislators to change from estate tax to the death tax. Nice switcherroos!
History goes back 4.6 billion years. The earth was much hotter than. No heatwaves are part of our summer climate. They have always happened so this video is junk science. We have always had 90 degree days.
Why can't they make those safety vests have pockets for ice to keep workers cool?
