  1. Oh no, not the old "albedo feedback" hypothesis again. LOOK at your own graph @2m50 : there was an accelerating decline from 1980 to 2012. Since then it has actually recovered somewhat. That formally DISPROVES the "positive feedback". In fact it's basically flat lines since 2007. 17 years of no net change : pesky data as you say, but you manage to ignore it.

  2. You highlight a paper from 2023 for which the ice data oddly stops in 2018. I wonder why? Already the model's continued decline does NOT match actual measurements yet is deemed to be "more robust". This is activist BS, not science. Who are you kidding?

  3. I just wonder how the changes will manifest themselves. God awful harvests this year, so food will increase in price. I guess we'll all get poorer in the short term and those among us who are more inclined to turn to robbery and violence as a means to maintaining their lifestyle will start to do their thing, which to be honest they already are. Yep, it's all a bit bleak.

  4. If you draw a straight line through the temperature rise graph for the last 10 years, it show a 0.5 degree rise from a base of 1 degree. Many experts are coming to the view that we are now effectively at 1.5 degrees, for all the reasons described in this posted video. And if you use the same quality of data for expected emissions till 2035, it's a no brainer that the world will sail past 2 degrees within a decade.. not twenty years, as the bravest official outlets are now daring to say. I would advise all Florida beachfront property owners to sell their entire portfolio to Trump, while they still can..

  5. I hope you are doing those videos in English for the attention of Indian people. I also hope you translate them in Chinese as well. Because whatever US or UK or Canada do to reduce CO2 means close to absolute 0.00 in comparison to the two big players above.

  6. This time of the year, back in 2012… My interest then was about astrophysics/cosmology.
One evening, and by pure luck, I heard about low arctic sea ice record low.
We can say I fell from the stars and got into Earth sciences, it's still mostly physics anyhoo.
    Yeah, I need a drink, without ice….

  7. There is an extremely good, no-nonsense long-term climate & global warming talk at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SwCScCzrnI0 with only 1 huge wart and a little one with something out of date. Wart is the so-called "greenhouse effect (GHE)" in Earth's troposphere is described at 6:56 entirely incorrectly as it usually is. The other thing is that the proxy shown at 28:34 from the 2 published papers in 2012 & 2013 was a good effort but since late 2021 is superseded by the 49 scientist-years of work assembling 524 published proxy analyses Osman et al, Earth globally (GLOBALLY) GMST for 24,000 years ago until 2010 CE is shown at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqtZdnpfgIc at 5:55, 6:05 and 7:00.

  8. A "Tom Shula" at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JtvRVNIEOMM assesses the photons at 15 microns being manufactured CO2 in the atmosphere at about 156,000 times as many photons as the Sun's photons that Earth absorbs (his CO2 emitting being 104 times as many photons as my estimate a few months back based on liquid H2O ("water")). So "Tom Shula" has CO2 104 times as powerful as mine but I'm sure "Shula" has overestimated. His calculation (1 photon per CO2 molecule per 0.65 seconds) is at 16:37 to 16:44

  9. informative as always , thanks, what about doing an overlay of some of the milankovitch cycles ? would the shortest ones have an impact on the next 100 years or are the models already using this data? cheers Lance

  10. the recent IEA 2024 Energy Outlook has been published. And their STEPS scenario seems to be observing demands in fossil fuel and "green" energy infrastructure, that if developed, would support the carbon budget of 3 degrees & arctic ice free world posited in this video.

  11. The hardest part of climate change action is the fact that most people are completely unwilling to make any personal sacrifices based on unrealized fears. If someone makes efforts to enforce change, they will just vote them out of power. If the system was rigged so all political parties push the same thing, they'll overthrow the government. There is no scenario where any government can enforce policies that destroy quality of life where the resulting civil unrest wouldn't be far beyond the government's control. Ultimately, to take real actions it would require a pre-emptive strike against populations before they become a threat, using a biological weapon of mass destruction, with a time delay for maximum capture, coupled with a psychological operation where people would be targeted based on corruptibility. What makes a person corrupt is their willingness to carry out actions for personal benefit in complete ignorance to potential consequences of their actions, which is essentially the mindset that has lead to the current environmental problems at hand. These are also the same people who will scoff at unrealized potential risks, while throwing their support against a minority of people who are merely standing upright against an effort to force them into unrealized and unknown consequences. It would be imperative to protect the people who do not wish to be victims as a consequence of merely sharing space with people who will destroy themselves and the world do to corruption. A world without people with a propensity for corruption is the only hope the human race has that we won't end up in a unrecoverable scenario.

It's basically impossible to convince the majority of people to sacrifice and increase their suffering for the good of the world. Most people really do prefer to believe in false realities than to acknowledge the present truth, even if it requires to sacrifice their own self to do it. This was the ending of "Shutter Island", when he chooses willingly to continue to believe the false reality in the face of the truth, knowing that he would be lobotomized and exist no longer as a conscious person. Pretty much everyone will return to their false reality whether they made it this far or not, but the truth is the truth, and trees still fall in the woods when nobody is around to hear them.

  12. To "gufpott": You type "Stratospheric cooling cannot be a cause of surface warming" Duh! Correct! Stratospheric cooling is a sign of changed GHG effect that REDUCES warming of the troposphere, ocean & surface, not increases it ignorant half wit. Physicists understand this perfectly and there's dozens of analyses figuring how much doubling CO2 would reduce radiation to space (called TOA) and how much it would reduce radiation up from the troposphere, and the reduction in radiation up to space is LESS than the reduced radiation up from the troposphere, like if there's 200 w/m**2 heading up from the top of the troposphere then there's 220 w/m**2 heading up from the top of the stratosphere, except I forgot to make a Bookmark & take notes from the scientist Forum Webinar so I just made up the 200 & 220, maybe it was 205 & 220 or 210 & 220. You are relentlessly pig ignorant of all the topics so you are relentlessly pig ignorant of everything you Babble about.

  13. In 2007 it was predicted the Arctic would ice-free in the summer in 2013, it wasn't, so it was moved to 2020,…and it wasn't. The maximum winter ice pack is back to what it was in 2007 !! You climate alarmists have no credibility left! Keep on drinking the kool-aid "Chicken Little" but stop gas lighting the rest of us. By the way the North Atlantic is colder than its been in 30 years. El Nina is kicking in.

  14. In 2044 I will be in 92 and given my current health problems, probably in Heaven. Hope to see you there. This program should be necessary viewing to all people . Vaya con Dios.

  15. A "Tom Shula" at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JtvRVNIEOMM at 51:38 calculates that CO2 molecules at the mesopause send off to space about 330 times as many photons as all of the arriving Sun's photons absorbed by Earth. This bloke entertains the heck out of me. What a stunning half wit. Since that would mean CO2 molecules at the mesopause only (so nothing elsewhere and nothing from H2O gas, CH4, N2O, O3, <H>CFCS) sending off to space about 16 times as much energy as all of the Sun's energy that heats Earth I'm pretty sure that would cool Earth like its going out of style and Earth would be the temperature of interplanetary space within a few weeks. I just love all these blokes with their relentless half-witted stupidity, it entertains me non stop.

  16. A horse walks into a bar… says… First they called it "Global Warming"… well nobody believed that….. sooo they changed the name to "Climate Change" well nobody believed that either.. sooo they ran a competition to come up with a name that everybody would believe…. The winner was "The Sky is Falling"…. let's see if that works … don't hold your breath.. lol….

  17. Let's be real here. There is NO WAY to get the world to lower CO2 by the levels these "studies and models" suggest we need to. The billions of dollars being spent on these studies should be used to adapt humanity for the next phase of the world: pre-ice age climate. We are still coming out of the last ice age and will most likely experience an ice-free world at some point so let's be prepared. There were times in the past when CO2 levels were above 1000 ppm and life was thriving. Stop worrying, start preparing and, live happy. Let's move on please.

  18. Forbes Breaking News Doug LaMalfa Stumps Entire Panel With Climate Question "What Percent Of Our Atmosphere Is CO2?"

Accurate answer: Photon-radiating & absorbing molecules over each 1 square metre of Earth on average:

20 grammes: The weight of molecules in the surface that make all the radiation going up into the air.

1 gramme: The weight of molecules in the surface that make all the 13.0-17.0 microns wavelength radiation going up into the air.

23,000 grammes: The weight of H2O gas molecules in the air that make and absorb broad spectral radiation, same as the surface does.

1,800 grammes: The weight of CO2 molecules in the air that make and absorb 13.0-17.0 microns wavelength radiation, same as the surface does.

2,300 grammes: The weight of water & ice in clouds in the air that make and absorb broad spectral radiation, same as the surface does, and absorb & scatter solar SWR radiation.

The above are the relevant quantities for comparison except I didn't bother with CH4, O3, N2O, <H>CFCs.

7,800,000 grammes: The weight of IRRELEVANT N2 molecules in the air.

2,400,000 grammes: The weight of IRRELEVANT O2 molecules in the air.

130,000 grammes: The weight of IRRELEVANT Ag molecules in the air

Also, CO2 molecules both emit and absorb about 400 times as many photons as all the Sun's photons.

H2O gas molecules both emit and absorb about 1,100 times as many photons as all the Sun's photons.

The quantities are jaw-droppingly vast. These molecules travel at the speed of a cruising Jet and collide before they've gone a distance a few bacteria wide (micropscopic), 3 Billion collisions each second. Earth's surface is thinner than a human hair.

If there were no GHGs in the air then Earth's surface would match all the Sun's heat with 10 grammes of water or soil in each square metre but the air weighs 10 TONS over each square metre not 10 grammes (an eye dropper).

  19. I used to ask my students if all the trees but one in your neighborhood were cut down, for lumber, for fuel, for tools and there was only one grand oak tree left, and all the neighbors agreed to save it. All spring and summer they enjoyed the shade, that fall they gathered the acorns. Then, the polar blast hit the neighborhood and your wife and kids were freezing, do you cut down the last tree for heat to save your family? What if it’s just the last tree on your property? What if it’s on your neighbors property but he has kerosene heat?

A similar question was a very pretty small glen with a nice creek that bubbled through it. Deer, grouse, native birds lived here in abundance. I showed them a photo of the valley from the jeep trail.
    Then:
    1) Someone bought the land and built a cabin right in the middle near the creek. What changes will happen in 1 year, 5 years, 10 years?
    2) the valley was discovered by ATVers and dirt bike enthusiasts. Soon groups appeared every weekend creating new trails, ruts, noise and leaving trash. What are the consequences to this valley and how fast will changes be noticed.

Actually, number two happened and we made a field trip. In fact, 4 or 5 side valleys were now accessed and were in the same new torn up condition.

You let me know how these people will care about arctic sea ice as long as they have a tree to cut down.

  20. WELL DUH! our sun is at an 11 yr solar MAXIMUM in 2025

Extra activity from the sun, creates more earthquakes, volcanic activity, and STRANGE WEATHER PATTERNS, NORTHERN LIGHTS

It's called SOLAR FORCING. All kinds of scientific studies in the last few years show humans have insignificant influence on weather.

Human influenced climate change is a scam.

  21. Oh , please! The last ice age ended 12,000 years ago. The earth's temperature has been rising for a long time. We have fossil records of ancient forests under Greenland and Antarctica. It's been warm before, and will likely do it again. And nobody is going to stop it. Get over it. You're not going to set earth's temperature like a thermostat in a bedroom.

  22. I genuinely feel like we're all doomed. And here I sit. Watching this on my silly little phone as I commute home from my silly little job which doesn’t matter at all in the grand scheme of things, to sit at home reading silly little books as the biosphere collapses around us all. But what to do as an individual against our idiotic businesses and governments. Generally feeling rather hopeless about it all.

  23. Climate Cultists/Scientists are very narrow and pedantic. This turns me off, as they constantly neglect important facts like changing solar weather and our changing orbit around the sun,
Don't get me started about the collapse of Pacific Ocean biota being caused by the continuing Fukushima disaster, 😢 #fail

  24. Each time we model it we forget that the increase is exponential. Human population grows, things that create CO2 are thus increasingly demanded and there is no innate interest for most individuals in choosing to never buy a car or similar approach
