  1. If the transition to EVs is so important why doesn’t the federal government switch their fleet to EVs? Trudeau has a fleet of large gas guzzling SUVs following him everywhere.

  2. I can see a future where Canadians just keep fixing old gas burning cars for decades to keep them on the road and avoid EVs. We'll look alot like Cuba. I can't fathom why Trudeau would want us to be more like Cuba?🤔

  3. Time for Political Party Reform. A Federal Party that eliminates the Party System. Every present ridding gets a seat. Send your rep to Ottawa and work for your ridding or be recalled. From those seats willing representatives step forward to sit as PM and is ellected by the greater body. PM is spokes person on the World Stage. Just a thought. We need change

  4. Whoa. Let's get reason back into the question. For some people and some places electric vehicles make a lot of sense. ICE vehicles and Hybrids also make sense depending on what you need.
What is true is that Govt. needs to get out of the way, out of the debate and out of our lives.
It's not electric vehicles are the problem, its the Govt.
    It's always the Govt.
I drive both and in the right applications electric is great. But, I don't live in a cold climate with great distances between cities. I also have commercial diesel trucks and barring something like Edison Motors stuff being available, I will have diesels for the next 10 years.

  5. The average price of all EVs sold in Canada is $70,000.The cheapest EV is $45,000. Canadians can't afford them. The charging infrastructure is not well developed/available for EVs in Canada. Okay if you own a home and can have your own personal charging unit and just commute to work. But most young Canadians can't afford a home as the average price of a house is $717,000. in Canada now. The Liberals seem hell-bent on shoving EVs down our throats. But let's look at some issues concerning EVs.
-Getting one fixed is a big problem as very few dealerships have personnel trained that know how to fix them.
-Even in a minor accident the battery pack can be compromised and need replacement. Recently that happened to Hyundai EV owners. The price for a new battery pack is $50,000 to $60,000. If the same type of incident happened on an ICE vehicle it could be cheaply repaired. At $50,000 to $60,000 to replace the battery pack an insurance company will just write off the vehicle so it goes to the junkyard. So how is that saving the planet?

-Insurance companies are now telling big condo complexes and apartment buildings that they will not insure those buildings if they allow lithium-powered bikes to be kept in the building. There have been many fires from the lithium batteries. EVs use lithium batteries.
    – Fire departments are not equipped with special foam units to put out lithium battery fires. How much will it cost to equip all fire stations with that type of equipment? Now they just try and get everyone away from a car or bus EV fire and let it burn out. That's a lot of toxic smoke.
-Big vehicle transport ships and some big vehicle ferries will no longer transport EVs. Due to fires insurance companies will not insure them.
    – What happens if Toyota is successful in developing the solid-state battery pack they are now developing? They claim they have solved the issue of solid-state batteries losing power in cold weather and that their battery pack would provide a 500-mile (800km) range and be fully rechargeable in 10 minutes. That would make lithium battery packs obsolete.
-The Liberals have committed $billions to subsidize EV battery production in Canada. The companies involved are now putting those projects on hold .It seems EVs are not selling.

  6. EV trucks have extremely poor range when towing a load. If you want to travel 1000km with a camper, are you willing to recharge 11 times? EVs are not for every use case so they shouldn’t be mandated. The mandates won’t happen anyways, especially when Trudeau is gone. Manufacturers are also cutting back on EVs. They are not clean enough to ruin the market.

  7. You guys hit it out of the park today! When is this madness going to end?? It gives me hope that you young people can see the serious reality of how our country has been taken over by this globalist enemy. Keep up the good work. Liking This👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 !!!! Angry Grandma in Cochrane AB

  8. It's the new feudalism, we're all peasants in the future, it doesn't matter if there's enough electricity to power your electric cars they don't want you going anywhere anyway.

  9. When do the Trudeau Liberals ever think anything through! On this EVs only by 2035, Trudeau (like with everything else) figures all he has to do is snap his fingers and like the guy on Star Trek say "Let it be so!" and it's going to naturally come to pass! Can we just get rid of these idiots….. NOW!!

  10. There should be absolutely no grants, subsidies or rebates for any purchasing of products or for building and installing solar or wind. If people or businesses want to go that route then they can do like everybody before them, do it in your own dime and investment

  11. Another note. If we are mandated and moving in that direction, why are there so many gas stations being built and renovated. What do they know that theyre not telling the general public. Kinda like the rich people buying up all the beach front properties

  12. ULCBD ### Can STICK those Electric Vehicles where the sun don't shine

The cost of an average battery starts at 6,000.00 and can go up as high as 16,000.00 for 1 battery and for installment another 2500.00 into the Vehicle

  13. What the government doesn't say is that very few people, if any, will be allowed to have a car in their 15-minute cities. In this case, there will be no issues charging them. We in the country will be using the horse and buggy to get around, and that's only if they don't seize our country properties.

  14. It's All part of proceeding with Klaus Martin Schwab's Great Reset Agenda by impoverish the civilians via carbon taxes and thus working toward their goal of 15 minute cities. Only those who can afford a electric vehicle will have one.
the remaining civilian population will only be able to walk or ride bicycle 🚲 within 15 minutes of their rented apartment. Only a certain amount of times per month. Reminder that electric vehicles can be shut off shut down via satellite 🛰 link via a government agency monitoring 15 min cities usage.
its all working towards Klaus Schwab's vision of one centralized world 🌎 government controlling all working ants 🐜 civilians who will work in servitude to the state
and civilians would work and recieve a monthly Universal basic income pay on a conditional basis

  15. Imagine driving in the dead of winter in northern Ontario and your battery is dying because your stuck on a major road because of snow. Your are probably going to pass away. But if your your in a gas or diesel vehicle with a tank of fuel you might be better off.

  16. Our boreal forests get rid of 85 % of world pollution. The earths North magnetic pole has shifted towards Siberia by 90 km the last I checked. It’s not carbon. We contribute about 0.1 percent of world carbon

  17. Just the fact that this government thinks they have the authority or "mandate" to even force a ban on any consumer purchase is mindblowing. How long fellow Canadian's are you going to put up with this insanity?

  18. charging an EV is about a lightbulb, so that's irrelevant.
My main concern is the high percentage of Canadians who only ever buy used vehicles. There'll never be a cheap used market for used EVs, because the battery is the fail point is the battery, not the car.
Also, as we eliminate the gas cars, we're going to lose access to all the repair ability for all these older cars.
Ultimately, this transition to EVs will be EXCLUSIONARY to all lower middle class and poorer and older Canadians. We'll be relegated to fukin public transit, even in rural areas, where public transit will always suk.

  19. As I was walking to the beach in Fort De Soto Park, Florida, carrying fried chicken, I was suddenly surrounded by raccoons. I quickly fled back to my rental car and ended up eating the chicken inside.

  20. 5:58 Do some research on the reality of the environmental cost of production ,mining and cost of replacement parts. Even tires cost a lot more because they have to carry the extra weight and a new study shows the particulate emissions are a lot more as well.
