Welcome to “The world, simplified”, a weekly show that will break down some of the biggest developments in finance and economics that are shaping our world.
We started this show because many of you asked us to cover global topics, considering The Daily Brief focuses on India. This is what we will do in these weekly episodes.
In this episode, we talk about—whether it’s dying and if the world is breaking apart. We will also explore what’s happening with the green transition and the challenges that poorer countries are facing.
So, please listen and do let us know your feedback in the comments.

Length should be 30 min – 60 min considering it's a weekly brief and can cover all news neatly
It's amazing I loved the learning becoz it keeps me out of noise which I get on conventional new channel

Thanks for valuable video

Well explained.
A bit too confusing, even more me, an IITian and ISBian. Need to simplify.
Appreciate the effort.
Lenth is perfect 20 minutes look like a clickable Video insted of 30 or 35 minutes video
A little feedback- There were many terminologies and abbreviations that bounced off my head. I had to pause and Google it. Maybe I'm more exposed to Indian markets , thus I got confused. You could try to simplify a little, which would extend the video but yaa. Might be a possibility that I'm the only one facing this and all others are quite an expert in all these terms
Excellent
Great video
Where's the link to the newsletter and resources??
I am not able to find the link to the news letter
Well done!!
The trouble is if investment needs to be increased, then it is essential that there be gains for those investing. We must never confuse Investment with Charity. This said, if the idea is to meet the climate constraints, and raise the value of those countries that are NOT advanced enough to do it themselves, the govt of those countries must "strengthen the bridge". This means the people of the country will be doing so by way of taxes. This necessarily must be so because they will be the end beneficiaries of the investment made by others, along with the overall gains to the climate constraints. What needs to happen is that the govt in those less advanced countries are NOT corrupt and siphoning the funds, and at the same time the gains made by the investing companies must be a reasonable return. What constitutes "reasonable" is something that will need to be mutually worked out.
There is NO other way. Investment establishments are not charity organizations.
Well conceived , organised and presented. Though the presentation seems bit faster, that’s inevitable given the kind of dry topics like this. Well done
Love the work you guys are doing pertaining to podcasts. Picking excellent topics. I enjoy it. 30min. Are good, i mean, i can spend that amount of time for such topics. Thanks guys.
International financial tidbits should be available here like the daily brief
.
Hey this is a really Great initiative please keep doing such informative episodes on global topics. My one request would be that can you please link all the sources that have been used for research this will help us to already indepth on these topics?
Can you please share the sources for people who want to dive deeper.
Given the complexity of the content covered it seems to be rushed & hence difficult to follow. Would be good to simplify this and cover at a moderate pace. Thank you
You are talking about global things but why we as Indian forgetting our language and our culture your channel is full in English why not in hindi are you a Indian company or a foreign do you all have Indian citizens on you company or not then why people are soo possesive towards English content or English language why not hindi ? Is it that much shameful now a days to speak Hindi dear zerodha team see your content is great but plz make some content in hindi people will appreciate that I am sure of that
How much increment did you ask?
Appreciate the effort that goes into making these videos!
One suggestion though, video length can be around 30 mins but the length at which the topics are discussed can be shorter. Cover more topics in the 30 mins range videos.
The episode was really insightful
But could you add the links of the research paper or the news paper from where the information is taken, it would be helpful.
Love you content
Been watching you guys since you had a few hundred subscribers. Glad to see that the channel is growing.
Amazing work as always.
No mail of this one??
Like how we get for daily brief
Please try to cover more current macro themes and where smart money is flowing into which sector
1. Length of the video is fine, as long as it makes sense
2. Content of the video is simple and easy to understand
one show is required which may get a bit political and that is effects of different government policies on economy…the real effect and not the reel effect…like I was reading about this edible oil mission fund sanctioned but how it affects citizen and with its detail….can be like a weekly podcast
Thanks for this valuable inputs on the two major trends happening globally.
You have made both the topics simpler.
"The cleanest episode – Hats off to the research team as well! Can you please add all the documents (research papers, letters) you talk about in it? It will be really helpful. Thanks!
This is extremely well researched. Can only imagine the amount of time spent on putting this together with citations to multiple economists and various papers. So glad that this is available for absolutely no cost, delivered in an unbiased and factual way. Will follow this very closely.
PS- It took me double the duration of the video to read through all the graphs and process them. Quite detailed.
Keep him for a daily brief if anurag is not available. Voice is good
Too many changes Zerodha. At this points confused which channels to follow.
Sectoral and company specific news coverage can be considered. There are many interesting events happen in a week. btw, global daily brief is also not a bad idea.
Please do one episode on Indian software deep dive. Future of it in india.
Is this official zerodha channel
Excellent content, and presentation as well. Liked it very much.
Hat's Off for such in-depth & valuable content
please continue
