Why not call it what it is, the impact of the climate crisis?
That young 7yo is VERY articulate for his age! I'm impressed!
All very sad! But I’m sorry to tell you that this is going to happen again and a girl or a girl and it will only get worse! The waters are warming just as the air temperature is warming. I saw temperatures at 85°F in the golf and the surface water in some places was 100 degrees!
Collection… It’s going to happen again, and again, and again. This AI sucks!
it should have said, “correction”, not collection! This AI really sucks!

don’t rebuild! It’s going to keep happening and it will be worse every year. You need to move out of Florida. I know that won’t be won’t be easy
This is happening around the world, Italy, Greece, Japan, Indonesia – everywhere. Climate disasters around the world leave people no different than these Hawaiians!
All that money (US payers Tax dollars) this administration gave away to illegal immigrants could sure come in handy right now for Helene & Milton Survivors who lost everything.
Why live there? Do they not have any common sense 😮
Climate change has been happening since Noah, about 7,000 years ago. God was right when He said, "It escapes their mind about when the world was flooded".
Thank your grand parents, this is what 60 years of inaction looks like.
FEMA and the American Red Cross conducted a 5 year joint survey on Americans and preparedness and there results came out in August 2015, stating two major statistics that at the time over 60%, now 55%, of Americans do not prepare for natural disasters in any significant shape or form even though over 80%, now 95%, of American counties get hit by one or more than one natural disaster per year. The second major statistic was for every $1 spent on preparedness planning, products, or both you will save somewhere between $4-$16 in damages and recovery fees, compared to someone who doesn't prepare at all. To include those who prepare, compared to those who do not, will recover 4-5 times faster. Now those statics where all before the pandemic, so now if you include inflation its more like for every $1 spent in preparedness planning, products, or both you will save yourself somewhere between $8-$32 or more in damages and recovery fees. During Hurricane Harvey in southern Texas a husband and father took a chance in preparedness by purchasing an Aqua Dam for $8300 and all his friends, family members, and neighbors made fun of him until after the disaster had passed and they discovered his was the only home not majorly damaged by Hurricane Harvey. The husband stated he spent $8300 on the product and it saved him over $150K in damages and recovery fees, that's a 95% savings rate. It always pays to be prepared. The more prepared you are the better off you will be in the long run, as long as you survive the initial disaster. This is a prime example of why more people need to get more prepared and think about "Emergency Preparedness Management" for both your home and vehicles. I am a YouTuber under my Full-Name with the same profile picture as this post with 47 videos covering 27 different category topic subjects sharing my personal knowledge and experiences with others to help others improve their overall adult lives. I've got videos on building yourself a high quality 24-72 Hour Survival Bug Out Bags, Home and Vehicle Preparedness and Readiness advice videos, several Financial Literacy advice videos, a dozen Cooking Creation Recipes videos, and more!
Knowing that natural disasters are happening more frequently and becoming more extreme year-after-year, its not just about who's getting more prepared and in what ways, but overall I think human beings need to learn to adapt and change how they live and what exactly they live in as well. This whole idea of wanting and having a large house on a foundation is a bit old fashioned and needs to adapt and change. I think more people should look into the variety of Tiny Houses whether that be a Tiny House on a wheeled trailer that can be towed, or a shipping container home, $100K Eco-Capsules from Europe, new Boxabl quick setup homes, and more. All these different options could be better alternatives and cheaper replacements compared to expensive normal houses on foundations. You can even create shipping container unground bunkers for survival natural disasters. To include, maybe human beings shouldn't even live on the surface of tornado alley, instead build bunker homes of some kind under the surface within that region. Stop building or placing new homes in the same surface area where a tornado just destroyed everything in that region, how smart is that? Work smarter, not harder. As our world and climate changes, we need to adapt and change as well with how we live and what we live-in. I wish I knew how to gain major funding because I have several different invention product ideas that I wish I could contact "Davison Design & Development Co." to go through to help me design and develop my disaster preparedness and protection product devices that could potentially be a game changer against climate change in order to better protect ones homes, vehicles, and livelihoods several different ways.
Maui is still shocking that happened
We aren't doing a damn thing to change course
This is caused by capitalism. We should have built only Tower cities connected to maglev Trains. Then none of these and all problems would exist because none of the jobs would exist. And there’d be no climate change anywhere on earth. Problem is cars and houses.
