A major offshore wind company has abandoned plans for a large wind farm off the coast of Illawarra.
The project was reportedly highly contentious in the area.
The future of the project remains unclear.

Saw a video earlier today from the UK where they reckon some of these projects won't be able to be connected to the grid due to lack of infrastructure and they had a notice go out about low power supplies due to lack of wind and bad weather.
