
Three crucial United Nations climate and environmental summits will be held in the last quarter of 2024: the sixteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 16) in Cali, Colombia, from 21 October to 1 November; the 2024 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29) hosted by Azerbaijan in Baku from 11-22 November; and the sixteenth session of the Conference of the Parties (COP16) of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 2 to 13 December
