So he agrees there is damage. He just thinks climate change is not causing it. The damage is caused by pollution and human activity. Regardless of which is causing the problem the fix is still the same. Change the activity of man. The Rich just want to make sure they profit either way and we are going to pay for it not them. First and foremost is the fact that the climate has been constantly changing for millions of years! I live in Manitoba, Canada and we claim to have 100,000 lakes! Why? Well, this province was once covered by glaciers that went as far south as Minnesota that has 10,000 lakes!
Those glaciers receded over thousands of years with NO human life or CO2 pollution! Greenland was once “green”. What happened there?
We should not be worried about CO2 emissions, especially in Canada, because we have BILLIONS of trees that absorb and need CO2.
What IS damaging to the environment is what is needed to make electric vehicle batteries! Talk about polluting the environment!!! It’s insane! And besides that fact, fossil fuels are used to MAKE the electricity to charge the EV’s! It’s so ridiculous it’s mind boggling, that people think driving an EV is going to save the planet! I’m all for cutting waste and avoiding polluting our lakes and rivers. But I certainly won’t be stupid enough to buy an EV! Anyone who lives in Manitoba would be nuts to buy one, especially when the temperature drops to minus 30 Celsius, and has cold temperatures for 5 months of the year. I hope Bill Maher swallows his egotistical pride and admits that this “global warming scare” is not valid, AT ALL!!

Absolutely agree. I'm extremely serious about the depleting rain forest around the world; it needs to be left alone. Medical advances have come from the rain forest. But it's man that's destroying it, not global warming.

I am actively studying the Great Barrier Reef. This is insanely misrepresented! Coral cover is the highest it's been since 1986, BUT THIS IS NOT A GOOD THING. Coral cover does not measure diversity between different types of coral, just the total cover of hard corals. The majority of this new growth is from so-called "weedy" corals, and there is a growing LACK of biodiversity! Just a few years ago we had the worst bleaching event on record (2016/17), and some areas of the GBR lost up to 50% of their corals due to bleaching. The subsequent recovery is disproportionately represented by these "weedy" corals, and it is not good for reef health. These are the signs of an actively unstable reef, it is IMMENSELY fluctuating in coral cover.
As a teen I was traumatized after going to the Chicago planetarium and heard a lecture on how the solar system would one day end. After suffering for weeks I went back and found out it would happen gazzillion years from now. Same with climate change. It’s a farce to control you with fear

Carbon is less than one half of one percent of the troposphere (78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, 1% water vapor, argon gas, and carbon)……..in other words, negligible. Anyone who tells you they know the triggers of weather events is lying to you. We do not know the triggers of weather events just like we do not know the triggers of cancer.
