An atmospheric river bearing down on British Columbia’s South Coast has begun to make itself felt, with power outages and road impacts reported Friday evening.
As Global’s Sarah MacDonald reports, the wind and rain has prompted ferry cancellations, flood watches, and has the potential for natural disasters.

I live in DT Van. and I saw nothing like this, and I thought it was all overblown. But I see I was wrong.
In 2016 it rained 28 out of 31 days in October.
