Protecting the planet can be a difficult task… ๐
Despite warnings from scientists about climate change and countless climate conferences, political and industrial action is still lacking. But could tackling the issue also be more complex?
Some scientists argue that our brains could be at the root of the problem. ๐ง

Yeah, we as humans are literally too dumb and too greedy in the here and now. We all do that. So climate will change for the worse faster each day. How do we speed up changing humans to understand that massive problem quickly enough to put a positive spin on that disaster?
Living climate is changing. Greens are commies. So it is all about politics.
why doesnโt German restart nuclear energy in german then, instead of buying fossil fuel from Russia or renewables from China? Hypocrite much?
so basically, humans evolved to be shortsighted and it's gonna ruin us
Or maybe it's the fact that we are instead more observant than one might think, and recognize that we're just going with the flow of the majority, while those with major leverage to solve these problems don't do enough. Nobody is leading with a proper example.
Sorry Madame but I can't agree less. Consumers don't decide what they desire, companies do with advertisements. Citizens don't decide what is legal, companies do putting their men where they write laws. At least, to make decent information about climate change, you must say 2 words: fossil fuels.
We unnecessarily make it complicated. Stop arguing if and how much humans are responsible for it.
….. climate is changing and we have to prepare for it.
….. we all like clean air and be less dependent on the middle east Russia etc.
Edit: stop blaming local issues on the big unsolvable global climate change.
That doesn't explain why things aren't changing fast enough considering how many of us actually DO get it.
Are our brains different? Or are the brains of those with power who CAN change things NOW have different brains?
Itโs not going to be stopped, we passed the point of no return some 50 years ago
Our current situation became absolutely inevitable the moment the first human appeared on the earth. The scientists cannot solve or problems because they are as human as the rest of us. It is a problem inherent in humanness, and to see beyond it requires the will and ability to see beyond humanness itself. That is possible, but requires questioning our most strongly held beliefs about ourselves.
Itโs very simple, winter (cold) summer (hot) spring (not hot or cold) autumn (not cold or hot). Thereโs your โclimate changeโ
if the world went vegan it would cut global emissions by a whopping 28%, it would really help. but please consult with a nutritionist if you wanna try going vegan, so that you don't run into nutritional deficiencies.
Oh ya. Also "acid rain" and the hole in the ozone. Just keep pumping that narrative ๐ ๐ ๐
Those who have the most power to take action will be the last to suffer, and those who will be the first to suffer have the least power to change something.
Started global cooling then global warming now just climate change. How about we are tired of the lies. The earth will change climate anytime it pleases we have very little effect on it 10-12k years ago it was an ice age and the Sahara was green utopia. When humans wasnโt burning oil the planet will keep on doing planet things with or without us
or maybe the whole clilmate change thing is a hussel to make money.
The climate has always changed.
