They had 14 years to lock the grooming gangs up but didn't, they have introduced censorship and attacked our freedom of speech, introduced hate speech laws, bankrupted the country, made us dependent on foreign energy, overrun the country with immigrants both legal and illegal and have totally failed the country but now they say they will fix everything. when they have no power to do it. I do wish Robert Jenrick well. I want him to be selected and ultimately deliver on his stated intentions. He impresses me far more than Badenoch.
In my view he is a much more fundamentally decent and likeable man than Starmer.
Purely on his stance on Telford he seems like a good egg.
Mike please ask two questions:
1) Why should the public believe the Conservatives under your leadership? The Conservatives lied for 14 years, why would it be different under you?
2) What are you going to do about the right vote being split? If the right (Tories & Reform) remain split, Labour will always win! What will he do about that?

Mandatory tagging should be obvious and if the tag is removed that's an automatic rejection and removal – that's what any normal, self-respecting, partially compotent organisation would do. Politicians are very low calbre today.
I wonder why Billy Bunter didn't ask Jenrick about the time he overturned a planning decision in order to benefit Richard Desmond, a long time Tory donor of,course, that benefited him to the tune of several millions of pounds?
