  1. These road-based energy projects are all worth doing however some of them are more wasteful than others the theme is with the new technology that's just being released any source of power is amplified into the megavolt range so any of these will work enough for power everywhere it's just deciding which method we want to use we've rediscovered or pulled out of archives what's called the nuclear power circuit in the common era they call it the electron voltage accelerator circuit for the railgun project it was originally used by everybody just like everybody would use a wrist watch everybody has one of these power cells and they keep it with them at all times that's the way it used to be and they're tiny generally you feed them 1.5 volts of input power directly from your body's bio-neural input and you pull about a thousand volts off of it at 1:00 amp at an absolute constant one amp

  2. All we need is to completely replace all generation on our grid with this stuff and all the ICE vehicles with EVs and then we'll be able to have unlimited free energy! Friends! Our energy utopia is almost upon us!

  3. I just can't stand watching this. Any way they can get energy from the cars passing means the cars passing will have worse mileage. The energy has to come from somewhere and taking it from the traffic mean the cars and vehicles making up that traffic will provide it. Now look at efficiency of this system and there will be losses enough that the total energy payout will be less efficient than any other way to create electrical power. The question is who pays for it. With a system like this it will be those wo use the road, but without plainly explain. It would be more honest to put up a road toll and use that money to pay for energy. But that would make people more aware of how they are paying for someone else gain.

Just say no to any system that is supposed to sip energy from passing traffic. The only way it's green is in the color of the money that parasites hope to make from it.

  4. Why can't they just market these as enhanced speed bumps or something? The point of a speed bump is to slow down a vehicle. Why not market these as speed bump that also just so happen to steal energy from the cars driving over it (which is beneficial to the purpose of a speed bump)?

  5. Funny! Investors should at least learn about the conservation of energy before making any investments. If a road systems could be developed to scavenge energy from vehicles it would cause a drag on those vehicles causing more fuel consumption, which in turn cause more emissions. The energy has to come from somewhere. If you take energy from one place you have to generate it from someplace else and there is always losses at each juncture. Nature is funny that way.

  6. If this system "harvests" energy from my car, then obviously the energy that was in my car (kinetic energy due to height or due to speed) will get depleted. And so my car becomes slower. And then I have to invest energy (e.g. gas, or electric energy) to keep the speed of my car at it's desired level.

So basically such systems rob car owner of energy.

If I own a gas car then this system does absolutely nothing to reduce the carbon footprint. I actually think that it will increase it, due to low efficiency and production carbon generation.

  7. Yep, neither of these recovering WASTE energy, just stealing energy from vehicles.

Just to get on the political funding gravy train. Scamming the public purse via stupid politicians.

  8. Dave – lets form a company to harvest untapped energy from people flushing toilets? Think of how many toilet handles are being pulled all around the planet at any one time! Stick an electric generator system on each one and just think of the possibilities! We can get rich from all the venture capitalists. Shortly after we can go into liquidation, telling all our backers "Very sorry, it just went down the pan." đŸ¤Ŗ Snake oil salesmen have been around forever and always will.
