On September 30, 2024, Quest One celebrated the official opening of its Gigahub in Hamburg, one of the world’s most modern and largest development and manufacturing centers for the serial and automated production of electrolysis stacks.
The series production of stacks will increase the availability of green hydrogen, as stacks are the technological centerpiece of an electrolyzer that is be used to produce hydrogen.
In his opening speech, Robin von Plettenberg talks about the potential of green hydrogen and the fundamental contribution it can make in the fight against the climate crisis. “The hydrogen economy is set to transform dramatically in the coming years and decades, reaching volumes we can scarcely imagine today. As a key industry of the future, electrolysis stands at the forefront. So, with Quest One, we are laying the foundations here and now to be at the forefront in the future”.
