  1. So 14 Carribean states would like £18,000,000,000,000 pounds, and India would also like £45,000,000,000,000 pounds, interesting how 67.5 million people pays for that. I will check behind my sofa for any loose change.

  2. What about reparations to the Cornish,Welsh, Icelanders ,Scots,Bretons and Irish

  4. stopping Napolean, stopping Kaiser, stopping Hitler, invention of countless medicines, walk around your house and town and list which were first invented or introduced in in UK, fighting communism, free trade, free speech, football, cricket, rugby, tennis, railways ports and other infrastructure, democracy, religious tolerance, GDP of Carribean countries compared to typical African countries, GDP of African Americans compared to Africa, GDP of Singappore, Malaysia compared to other Asian countries, first major colonising power to ABOLISH slavery and use navy to enforce it – quite right the empire was ghastly, but those countries under it fared better than they would have done under the other colonisers. THERE IS NOW WAY THE WORLD CAN AFFORD WHAT IT OWES TO THE UK (their culinary contribution is perhaps best ignored)

  5. Should be charging these black nations for people pollution, mass migration and all envirmenal damage that is because of them. India Pakistan and others too.

  6. The only way its a 'sensible decision' is because even this Labour shambles of a government realised the absolute shit storm that would have landed on them if they had done it. Lets be clear, these idiots would have done it if they could.

  7. It's the taxpayer that'll have to pay for this. I do not want a penny of my tax contribution going out of the UK. I'm not responsible for the slave trade and colonialism. So, why should I pay reparations?

  8. We must stand up to these unviable Pacific island states that are always begging for money. They demand climate change money and back that up with threats to swing towards China, the world biggest carbon emitter. That shows it is all about money, not climate change.

  9. DONT BELIEVE ANYTHING THAT ANTI BRITISH LIEBOUR MOB SAY. DESTROYING THE UK AND UK HISTORY MAKING PENSIONERS SUFFER PENALISING CITIZENS TO PAY FOR NEVER ENDING STRANGERS ENTERING INTO BRITON

  10. Reparation is a second payment for those poor slaves. Leaders in the Common Wealth are a disgrace fixed on greed RE SELLING those deceased slaves a second time.

Lammy would sell his grandmother if he could

RIP All Slaves in the World

  11. Why isn't the world concerned about Islammic reparations? Slavery still exists in Islam today. Yet the world remains silent on it. An apology wouldn't go a miss, but as for paying more money than is already paid in foreign aid, it's just a money grabbing scheme for these people who want a get rick quick scheme

  12. Probably end up taxing the working class, we take the brunt of everything else.
Not sure how compensation will be given but do feel for the people who are affected and there ancestors.

  13. Should Turkey pay reparations to Poland, and Russia for the millions of Slavs the Ottomans enslaved? Mind you m, Poles and Russians don’t have a beggar mentality. They have too much self respect and dignity to take hand outs.
