Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and his UK counterpart Keir Starmer have struck a climate and energy partnership between the two countries to focus on the development and accelerated deployment of renewable energy.
The two leaders met on the sidelines of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Samoa where they discussed the relationship between the two countries.
“There is a real opportunity for us to develop technologies together to make a difference as well as look at cooperation in areas such as climate, finance,” Mr Albanese said during a media conference on Friday.
