A new report by Mr Montford’s campaign group estimates the cost at £300,000 per household by 2050.
This figure is based on current and projected costs for technologies like wind farms and solar panels.
Mr Montford argues that the financial burden is unrealistic and unsustainable and suggests a political backlash may occur as the economic impact becomes more apparent.

Allegedly, Ed Miliband's brother David Miliband is a paid advisor to 'Giant Ventures a London based VC firm ' focussed on green tech, and are funding a company called Field Energy, who are getting very large £ contracts with some dodgy clauses around performance (or lack of), from you guessed it, Ed Miliband. If this is true, this is cronyism and certainly a serious breach of Parliamentary rules on conflicts of interest. Don't you just love Socialism?
