I live in Asheville, the most highly affected area from Helene. The truth of the matter is that while these lies have been spreading, the community has been nothing but kind and nurturing. I’ve seen horrific things, and I’ve seen beautiful things too. Lies have hurt people, yes, but those who are able have tended to those wounds. The community theater, for example, has hosted short plays and cabarets while handing out supplies and raising spirits. Trump doesn’t want you to know about that. Trump only wants you to feel rage.

While I do think that these type of programs could exist in the government, I mean they've done stuff like it before, and while I do think the government will exploit this for their own benefit in some way, it doesn't take away that humand have died and are in dire need of help.

The democrats have encouraged state sponsored population control thru the murder of living children with heart beats and brain waves( based on a 50 year old law that does not take into effect modernultra sound technology); killed US soldiers on the battlefield bye removing combined arms assets in Afghanistan; and think the murder of literally tens of thousands of illegal immigrants every year on both sides of the border is a acceptable process? It would not surprise they would intentionally create hurricanes to affect voter turnout out! Not in the least.

Found out my mother believes this today, i was flabbergasted. I tried to explain to her how weather systems work and what specific conditions have to be met for a tropical storm to turn into a hurricane. She just kept insisting that shed "read things" but couldn't remember what specifically or provide any relevant sources.

Someone told me that hurricane aid was hampered because federal spending had been allocated to putting up immigrants in hotel rooms so there was no money left to help hurricane victims.
