  1. I have a lot of sympathy and regard for gay Christians, or at least I used to. They were, once upon a time, some of the most devout Christians I knew. They didn't believe in gay marriage (becuse they were gay) and they didn't believe in being legally able to adopt children (once again BECAUSE THEY ARE GAY!!) And they ALL vote conservative!! What happened to these people…where are they now??

  2. Net zero carbon has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE Church of England!! It is total rubbish. Please, please get rid of this awful nonsense. There is no scientific evidence and no need for it. Our current Govt is utterly sucked in by this falsehood but we should stand firm. Wow, I am feeling SO angry!

  3. @RevDan I'm from Australia and the same thing is happening in the Anglican Church i.e embracing LGBTQ ideology ,2 doctrines.
Not following the infallible Word of God.
How are new believers going to find the TRUTH?

  4. Why are there so many bishops? If we look at early modern times when the church was more influential there were fewer bishops and dioceses. It’s Parkinson’s law – an inverse relationship between managers and the numbers to be managed.

  5. We baptists have in our confession of faith (1689) that we as Christian members of the church are responsible for keeping heretics out. So not the pope. Nor the English king or queen. Nor the church synode. Nor the counsil of the local church or its pastor… We (all baptized believers belonging to that local church) are responsable. The lords supper is not given to those that live in immorality, certainly not the whole lgbt+ people. All are welcome. But those that do not convert from their sins are asked not to come anymore.

  6. Dr Giles Fraser, in his book, 'CHOSEN', finds a parallel between the development of the concept of 'orthodoxy' happening simultaneously in the 'Christian' sect of Judaism (by our definition: unorthodox, or heretical 'Judaism') and within the faith of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, in its own move toward a definition of 'orthodox' Rabbinic Judaism. The primitive Church was, by definition, a heretical sect within the faith of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob: and so Christians should have little time for concepts such as 'liberal' or 'orthodox' in a person is truly trying to interpret the good news of Jesus of Nazareth, the Messiah, for today's world. Such definitions suit the 'career-clergy'; but they should be unacceptable in the pew. Of course, there is also the angle taken by C Fitzsimmons Alison, in his book, 'The Cruelty of Heresy': which tries to depict 'orthodoxy' as the only way to "full-fat Christianity". With regard to crashing membership of the Church of England, aside from Justin Welby's lack of faith, which led him to cooperate with the fat blond, nominally Roman Catholic,' Caesar' during The Johnson Years, we now have thge problem that the 'secular' State (so often disparaged by churchgoers) recognises the love I have shared with another male for forty-one years, providing us with a Civil Partnership, whilst the Church refuses to provide such recognition; and even defines us as "intrinsically disordered". 'Christian marriage' is one thing: secular recognition another. However, how many of those who marry, for the first time, in a Parish Church approach the altar as 'virgins' (male or female)? Many will have had 'sexual fumblings' during their adolescence: yet, the Church still proclaims ALL sex outside of marriage to be wrong. The only difference is that – whereas it makes 'concessions' for heterosexual people – it becomes increasingkly harsh and rigid toward those who are same-sex attracted. Jesus of Nazareth had quite alot to say about the attitude of "making human beings conform to the Sabbath"; did he not. Yet, when some Christians try to imitate him, they are dismissed as "liberals" and "heretics". With regard to Anne Dyer (no relation; I hope!) in my late mother's Scottish Episcopalian Church, we should remember that – unusually – the bishops of this church CHOSE her for the post; because it was a DEI appointment, and they were desperate to appoint a woman. Justin Welby was similarly positioned on the resignation of Dr Richard Chartres in London: and so he almost apppointed Paula Vennells. What is it about women and bullying? Remember the privileged, white, ex-Chief Nurse of the UK (who got the job), Sarah Mullally, hectoring Calvin Robinson that he was mistaken in not recognisinbg the C of E as "institutionally racist"? On her reconing, I suppose it is also anti-feminist, too. These are not good people: and they belong nowhere near a 'kathedra'. With regard to Assisted Dying (and I, too, write as a retired specialist Nurse in Hameatology and Palliative Care; including Hospice work) those who make blanket statements about the dignity of us, as human beings, may not have seen people dying from fungating tumours, or advanced emphysema: which may be accompanied by pain and panic. Fortunately, English and Welsh law allows for the "Doctrine of Double-Effect"; whereby to treat such symptoms effectively, may necessitate the 'killing' of the person concerned; who will often sleep their life away. Strong opioids depress respiration, and cause extreme constipation: and addressing such side-effects is where Hospice expertise comes into its own. My point is that there is a vast difference between such genuine, professionalised CARE, and the deliberate – 'non-double-effect' – killing of another human being: which will always involve another human being, deliberately, acting as 'killer'. Some human beings may enjoy such a role: but it is hardly an 'ethic' which should be extended throughout society. That notwithstanding, we already practice this way at the start of human life: so why would we not seek to do so at the end: especially when the Globalists talk of "useless eaters", or "non-productive members of society".

  7. Try applying Matthew 6. It emphasises personal faith, and the rest of this fuss is all about the public stances which are criticised there. What you've got wrong is putting the Organisation first.

  8. A split happened in a local congregation 40 years ago. When I preached to the Remainers on the following Sunday: "It is like Paul and Barnabas dividing, and there are now two witnessing groups in place of one!"

  9. Dear Rev. Dan, Perhaps I've got it wrong, but You don't Seem or Sound Too Well.

Perhaps You are just Bunged up with a bad cold!
And I'm Praying for You That You haven't got another Strain of Covid.

If it's @ all possible, Please Take Time To Enter The Sabbath Rest Of GOD, So That You Will Be Made Well By HIS LOVING CARE. AMEN 🙏

  10. Concerning Pornography Especially In The Christian Church Body!

    BEWARE! BEWARE! & BEWARE!

    Dear Christian Believers, BEWARE!
Because Pornography Is One of The Major Weapons of The Devil,
Who Is The Arch Enemy of Our Souls, Always Prowling Around Like A Roaring Lion Seeking Whom He Might Ensnare, Devour & Ultimately Destroy.
Let's Remember That JESUS CHRIST Our VICTORIOUS SAVIOUR

WARNED Us About The Devil, For He Comes Like The Adversary To STEAL, KILL, & DESTROY Us!

Firstly He Comes To STEAL THE TRUTH OF THE WORD OF GOD FROM Us & Our RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.

Secondly, He Comes To Slowly But Surely KILL Us, By Suffocating & Separating Us From GOD By His Sinful Entrapments That Like The Spiders Sticky Web Ensnare Us!

And Thirdly Because He Has So Entrapped Us In Our Enticing Sinful Habits, He Ultimately DESTROYS Us By Dragging Us To Eternal Hell With Him!
For Our Unrepentant & Unconfessed Sin Actually Separates Us From GOD & Ultimately Condemns Us To Eternal Hell.

So Beware Of The Entrapment Of Pornography, It's A Poisonous Habit, That Addicts Not Only You, But Your Brain Thought Process Also.
And It Isn't A Harmless Drug or Habit, Because It Will Ultimately Destroy You, Your Marriage & Family & Everything Else Connected With You.

And Most Ultimately Of All, It Isn't A Harmless & Comfortable SIN!

Because THE SHEAR GUILT OF YOUR EVERY DALLIANCE WITH IT FURTHER SEPARATES YOU FROM GOD & LEAVES YOU FEELING SO WRETCHED & SO SELF LOATHING THAT YOU FEEL SO IMPRISIONED BY IT. SO YOU BASICALLY WANT TO DIE!

    SO BEWARE! BEWARE & BEWARE!

  11. Rev Dan you are such a good source of information on many important current issues. However, I seldom watch more than a short intro to your videos. It would be much more effective if you prepared a spoken presentation of the issues and then kept the notes you need. Instead you read large chunks of your report and stumble and halt or lose the flow repeatedly which I find too distracting and confusing.

  12. No proof for this, buI believe perhaps porn use makes Christians more likely to have very liberal attitudes towards LGBTQIA+. Our private behaviour has huge influence on our public beliefs and actions. Church doesn't speak much about moral, upright behaviour any more.
